The only good thing about iPhone4 is that it can play GTA China Town. Other than that its pretty much an iPhone 3Gs but with minor hardware upgrade.
iPhone 4 dont even have any new feature to show off with. They kept braging about their FaceTime [Which is worst than video calling despite it requires Wifi+Telco Network] and Retina Display [Which only means higher resolution]

HolyPredator, 08 Aug 2010How ignorant can you be? iPhone 4 uses Single LED flash.... moreLOL. How is not having a flash better than having a flash which is not so powerful? Yes I know the iPhone 4 only has an LED flash (xenon would have been better) but it's still better than no flash at all! No flash basically means night photos are out of the question. Yes I have a digicam, but when I just spent so much money on a camera, I would have liked a flash in the camera. And I find the lens quality of the iphone 4 is better than my Galaxy as well. :(

iPhone 4 uses Single LED flash.. which is pretty much a useless add-on to the camera. You'd be better off not having a single LED flesh.

I actually enjoyed reading this review. I have a Samsung Galaxy S and my friend just got an iPhone 4. I guess I'm happy that the Galaxy came out as the "winner"! :)
No but seriously, I agree that this review was a bit biased in favor of the Galaxy S. To be honest, I have used my friend's iPhone now several times and I kind of wish I had bought that instead of the Galaxy.
There were a lot of things I disagreed with in this review. First of all, they rated the Galaxy's camera above the iPhone 4?! Huh? They even mentioned that the Galaxy S has no flash but still rated in better than the iPhone? In bright light, I'm not too sure, but I do feel the iPhone's camera shows a more true color output. But in low light, indoors or at night? LOL, the difference is incredible...the iPhone 4 wins hands down! The Galaxy has no flash for god's sake!
And the music player of the Galaxy is better than the iPhone 4? Haha...and from what I read, the only reason it is better is becuase of the FM radio in the Galaxy? That made me laugh. The Samsung Galaxy S has the best music player out of all Android phones, but it is not better than the iPhone's.
And rating the iPhone only 4/10 on telephony? Because of the overblown "antennagate" issue?
I know gsmarena did not officially declare a winner here, but it's obvious they were hinting that the Galaxy S was the winner. Yes, I'm really happy with my phone, but honestly, the speed and overall usability of the iPhone still beats Android. Everything seems much more refined and in place. I like the the Galaxy because of the large screen, but honestly, aside from watching hi-def movies, it's not much of an advantage. The build quality of the phone seems low end with all the plastic and I'm not a fan of all the blue dots on the back.
I'm really thinking of returning my Galaxy and getting the iPhone instead. Jailbreaking is so easy now and once it is jailbroken, you get the amazing interface of the iPhone, along with all the freedom that jailbreaking gives you.

iphone 4 all the way :
love the itunes store.
i can find latest albums,songs,music videos,movies etc
and purchase "singles" often on it.
now ibooks supports epub books which really made things handy to me
each book not even occupies 1mb (if it doesn't have pictures but only words)
i love the app store so much
apps don't cost fortune some cost a dollar and some others 2 or 3
and games are so much fun + internet browsing looking into mails and everything is cool

iPhone is limited while Android OS phones are open source...you have to convert your videos for iPhone while some phones don't and support Divx...transferring WMA format songs to iPhone is a fuse as you have to convert it to AAC format while other phones don't....iPhone depending on Tune software to transfer files while other phones can simply drag & drop...there are so many advantage and disadvantage...and i own a galaxy S...the battery will last long if you dont use your phone much...i prefer phones that give me conveniences via any connectivity than a phone that give me troublsome connectivity even for a simple job...now...you decide what best for you... =)

Great review. just a few comments -
1. The Samsung has a gyro just like the IPhone4. Samsung just didn't make a lot of noise about like while Apple kept insisting they invented the new wheel, but the feature is the same.
2. App support - While I understand the reasoning for the score in the article, I would personally give Apple a ZERO score there, or even a negative. A company delivering a device who's main selling point is support for third party applications, and yet it doesn't allow the user to install apps without approval from the Big Brother. And of course an approval system that may reject apps for whatever reason they want, shifting approval standards, anti-competitive development restrictions. This is nothing less than a crime against humanity, and it's amazing how biased the anti-competition laws are to let it get this far. It's time to put a stop to this while we still have alternatives.
Android is catching up fast, it offers far more capabilities to apps so they have more potential, and it does offer ways for devs to make a profit, but not at the expense of basic consumer rights like on the Iphone.

We converted the test video sample in a format it recognizes but keeping the original bitrate and we fed it to its iPod video player. It lasted 9 hours and 40 minutes – a very impressive achievement...What more do u want ;)?

I have the SGS and have played a time with the iPhone 4. You will rather have the Super Amoled. Why? Because i haven't noticed difference between the 3GS. It only works better in the browser. With reading the words. That's the only + of the screen. And it's better then the 3GS in contrast etc. But if you compare it to the SGS you really want Super amoled..
+ the iPhone 4 can't do alot general stuff alot people want like:
-Bluetooth file transfer
-Mass storage USB protocol
-DivX/VidX support so you don't have to convert
-No HDMI.. (SGS will soon have an HDMI cable)
-FM radio with RDS
-Removable SD memory
-No flash 10.1 (will soon be on SGS with android 2.2)

They justified the scores and i agree with them. Did you just look at the scores and not read how they came to those conclusions?

It is clear from the review that gsmarena is being biased.
First they say that iphone beats out galaxy in their test but when its the turn of giving points they are annoyingly giving more points to galaxy.
I always thought gsmarena to be most unbiased but this day has to come. Now most of the articles on gsmarena are being sponsered by samsung. They put even a little news of samsung at the earliest but even the big news of other companies are not put sometimes
