Dell Streak review: Size does matter

05 November 2010
The Dell Streak has crossed the line where phones stop – and by some distance too – but we are still not completely convinced it’s beyond the point where tablets start. Is the Dell Streak sitting on a fence or sitting right in the middle of nowhere...

5" screen....PERFECT

I have use many phones and recently upgrade to the streak from htc hd2.

It is currently the closest pocketable PC Phone hybrid to date and surfing the skyfire browser with flash is perfect.

It all depends on people's need but this is currently my perfect goal of reaching the one device to rule them all.

It was & it is my dream so big display-5’... It's big as that is possible for my pocket***. It is right phone for right man ! However I'm stil using MDA-Pro with replaced x2 more powerful battery. It's really heavy and big – (significantly heavier than DELL STREAK), but I like it. …But I can't bye DELL STREAK, because it's battery is too weak for 5' display. 1300-1500mA/h is good just for 2'-3' screens. Samsung P1000 Galaxy with it's 4000mA/h and much bigger and brighter display is an excellent solution, but it is a tablet-to large for pocket... I'm sure that market has great needs for 5' BRIGHT 16mln. colors AMOLED display & with battery 3000-4000mA/h, because same reason***. We are waiting for right solution-because is huge pleasure to watch large bright and colourfull screen. However battery charging every night is not desirable... In any case after one year or even earlier, 3000mA/h capacity reduces till 2000-1500mA/h. What is happening to 1500mA/h battery, when so large display-5' ?! Simply it requiers for replacement every 6 months...
Sorry for my opinion. …… Engineer (electronics technician)-Algirdas G. UK
