I think that LG has done a great job with the Optimus Black.Looking forward to this mobile device!Just sad to see that Optimus2x is losing it's fight...even the Black seems a nicer option..of course until some version of android comes out that will demand dual-core...but nevertheless even the 2X is impresive...An excellent year for LG!!!

LG finally showcasing its display making skills with their own device not on the iphone4. Very impressive indeed, i wonder how NOVA would hold up against SAMOLED+ and BRAVIA display though?

engineerUSA, 18 Feb 2011but your lovely samsung doesn't have any 'emotion and feeli... morenova display is this years technology while super amoled is last year's. gsmarena haven't compared it with super amoled plus screen yet. I believe that its much better than nova screen.

of course samsung does have pretty super cool technology which could lead this chaos mobile industry...but that's it...nothing else samsung would show off...GS2? super AMOLED? I think LG display's RETINA display is much way better than samsung's AMOLED...FYI Optimus Black is going to use the NOVA display...it's going to be a big hit in this world...that's why lots of telecommunication vendors pre-ordered 2 millions...is samsung better than LG? no way man! Every company depends on Samsung? Bah! LG uses almost 'no' Samsung parts inside their phones.
Moreover, although Galaxy S 2's memory has bigger space, it uses only single channel instead of dual channel that is being used by LG, causing bottleneck phenomenon between its CPU and memory, which makes the phone's performance left behind optimus 3d.

EngineerUSA, 15 Feb 2011I think LG Electronics has been more trying to make revolut... moreyour comment prove u lack in technology conscience, lg is far behind sammy even now, its 3d is just for ui not as whole, its memory is far less than galaxy s2, s2 got super amoled plus whereas lg got ordinary lcd, s2 got dual core orion much better than its hummingbird( you know hummingbird easily beats n8, desire hd) optimus 3d got just 512 mb ram thats just useless, as gs2 got 1gb ram, and gs2 hsdpa 21mbps, optimus just 14.4mbps morever gs2 comes with gingerbread but lg stick to froyo, what a lame, do you know sammyy is the worls first in many sectors it made worlds first fastest ssd, hd video phone(i8910
), dual lcd phone, much inbulit phone memory( i310) watch phone(later n*t case lg copied it), first divx certified phone(s8500 wave) sammy made many flagship phones like i8510, i8910, b7610, s8500, i9000 etc. do you know taipei 101 buily by samsung, even burj al dubai built by samsung. we all love sammy cause other companies depend on sammy, it supplies peocessors, lcds to apple, sony,dell etc

I think LG Electronics has been more trying to make revolutionary products than samsung. samsung couldn't make some big issue...they're always standing within the ballpark...LG can be the most prestigious mobile company in near future. But samsung only can be the 'fast-follwer'...They don't have any soul...What can you think when you see the 'samsung' logo?

Now, that's interesting. Been looking for possible replacement of my S8500. S8500 got good hardware but bada OS.... I'm not too fond of the Touchwiz UI either.

Really,I don't see any real pros of this screen. For me,it looks like useless. This isn't the 3D that we are dreaming.
Galasy S2 is the future,my future :)
