iam planning 2 buy a good mob for 15-17k ..... ma option s galaxy ace r wave 2.... but many say tat aace does, nt support flash file..
and i wanna know whether ace ll support online videos,tube... youtube....
can anyone help me wit it...

Nokia, being an old maker of phones, can produce quality optics for cheaper, but these days it takes more than just "nice" cameras to sell a mobile. I used to have a 5230, and that thing is just 434 mhz but already has 3G browser and gps. So I thought, wow, what a bargain!! So, 6 months later, after 10 total memory re-formatting, 2 firmware updates, and hundreds of system crashes, I GAVE UP on my 5230 and "donated" it to my dad (who is a Nokia fan).
Now, owning an ACE for 1 month, I didnt get even 10% of the kind of headaches I got with Nokia 5230. And I think C6 wont be any different from the 5230, coz they share the same OS. And from what I hear, even the N8 is plagued with sluggish performance, esp the browser.
If only Nokia linked up with Android, instead of WP7 (money-grubbing Microsoft), I bet it would produce really AWESOME phones.. Now, I dont think so.
My advice-- stick with Android. Less headache, more features.

All legit Ace phones have functioning in-built apps, like calculators and alarms.

Oh, and Xperia Neo can do HD video recording -- 720p x 30fps, and has front camera too, and decent RAM and ROM.

If you can wait until May or June, Ace will receive the official 2.3 gingerbread update, and the video will be bumped up to VGA (from qvga) at 30fps which is acceptable, since the framerate is 30fps, which is standard for tv viewing, and VGA is still acceptable coz it consumes far LESS MEMORY than HD and can be played in any player without conversion (unlike HD).
If I were you, I would either buy the Ace NOW, or wait and buy the Xperia Neo LATER. Neo has Android 2.3, and has excellent video-camera quality thanks to SE. It will cost less than $500 unlocked, so its a pretty good deal, if you ask me. Right now, though, ACE is the best deal..

anish , 23 Apr 2011really good phone ,average baterry life & good display ... morecant accept that C6-01 is beter to ACE,,,cos i have been using it and cant apprciate even a single feature...poor UI,very slow..and very heavy...what else u can complain...and this ACE is slim and has processor better than C6...reg the camera of C6 u cant get a decent video in dark despite having a flash...so ACE is better to C6

If you want a cheap phone with HD recording, consider Nokia C6-01, it's alot better than Galaxy Ace in almost every aspect.

Samsung Ace or the sony erricson vivaz... from the gsmarenas image quality comparison tool they both have a camera which is on par with one another..
But vivaz has 720p video recording and is cheaper .. but ace has android and is better looking..
Plz any help would be greatly appreciated... also i own a 5530 n want to upgrade to a better phone..

after 2 weeks of normal use my galaxy ace phone turns up to be a "head ache"..
the screen looks like as if someone is typing on the keyboard...changes input method..opens applications...opens contacts and dial calls..and the screen freezes....

ACE Owner, 21 Mar 2011as many of u told battery life is very poor,screen responsi... morei also have Ace, but i don't experience poor battery.
In fact, battery of ace is very good. it lasts me 2 hours of games, calls, internet browsing 1 hour, and standby of 4 hours with Live wall paper on. I charge every night (even if battery is not empty), or I charge every 2 days. Note that Ace's battery is only 1350 mah, not 1500 mah like Optimus 1. So actually the battery of Ace is good.
