LG Optimus 2X is and excellent phone, I agree, the performance test indeed surpassed SGSII. Honestly, I like the pictures taken by LG O2X best and the phone design looks 10 times better than SGSII.
But nothing seems to convince me away from SGSII with its good looking screen, thickness, and TouchWiz4.0 =D I think Samsung did a good job on the TW4. So much information can be viewed right away soon as you unlock the device.

Whether broswer version is same?
if same, why same interface different?
Furthermore, Samsung with 3G Signal but LG without any 3G signal.
The test environment seem prepared for Samsung. It is unfair comparsion.

I think that in this test galaxy S II is shown much better then in reality. In reality better choice is 2x if we consider price.

I wouldn't complain about the picture quality for pictures taken with any of those phones. Oversaturation is there for SGSII but that's not problematic, some noises are noticeable when zoomed in on Arc's that's not problematic. But in the end, I think they all take really good pictures unless you plan to look at your pictures all zoomed up everytime...
Hope GSMArena includes some night shots in the preview/review.

I want to see night shot from SGS2 and its led flash performance especially the led white balance, I still remember n86, that dual led flash color was really su*k...
anyway, I wish SGS2 noise control is done well when high ISO800. Usually, taking photo without using flash is nice than with flash.

how far to upgrade ..ok now its 1ghz proccessor 1gbram ... lets say,expect more in software i want to ask with samsung or any other brand is it elibile to handle office package as we do in pc ,or some thing like interative video editing ... or can it execute as told before without touching my pc for video conversion mp4 rather direct .vob playble, in this size...question arrise how soon .... if not bez i belive people dnt wnt to carry extrat gajeta...bez world is dominted by windows and linux os with .exe file etc after looking toward smartphone its a evolution of pc to pam of hand ,then its wort it to pay more than 1000$ wont regret.... then it will call true investment to technology.
hope the days come sooner.

lets talk straight to the point friends 1ghz proessor ram 1gb and good wide screen ..... wht the use when it cant play, inmy point of view a simple file .vob (dvd file)toward looking such specification bez gandi has three monkey friend not saay bad , not to hear not to see bad
i prefering seeing rest all r defult. in keeping in mind of entertaiment feature after spending such $$ .. hehehe

one short note: LG make better phones than Samsung.
P.S. i agree with the previous commenter, that the comparison is not fair - top Samsung phone vs not the top LG phone.

Idk why... But personnaly, I'm a sucker for oversaturated colors! ;P
On topic, Gs2 does feel like a more mature device, they should have put a little more time on the optimus imo..

I got my optimus 2x a day ago I've been playing with it. At the first the responsiveness and browsing were awful. As it has been discovered that the LG Stock firmware has huge bugs. Anyway so I've got the custom firmware now. I can assure you ITS FAST. Not sure if its faster than Galaxy S2 as its obviously on gingerbread and and o2x is on froyo but it's certainly comparable and much much better than the stock firmware.
