I stopped updating my iOS after an update last summer deleted three and a half months of my business-related calendar entries and Apple refused to even acknowledge the problem. Apple can bite me!

Didn't Android, WP7, or whatever iPhone-killer thing get the idea from the iOS jailbreak community, integrate in their phones and release ahead of iOS5? My opinion, though.

it has multitasking which works very well thanks
yeah doesnt have bt transfer but in all fairness i have never needed as i just send stuff via whatsapp of email
ha no mass storage? i am currently using 10g on my device to store files on my device using dropbox and various other apps with other security and all can either have files added via wifi or usb
the only thing ni am missing out on is flash and to be honest tyhats no biggie as havent come across a site that needs it tht i use

Well iv been using the ios 5 beta 7 on my ip4 for a few weeks and i can say the ios took a huge step forward , but it still lacks some important features like Bluetooth sharing ( which i dont care about) - and flash support for browsers , otherwise all the new features are nice and useful may be they are copycats of android or Cydia (jailbreaking)tweaks wutever , i think the best new features are : iCloude - Notification Center and PC Free .

This is whats been dominating! Really? Really? Really? A lot of this is standard in Blackberry OS6! Nothing revolutionary here! QNX will blow this out of the water! IOS's savior is its apps! without it, its just a really expensive paperweight.

I was so exited before getting this phone and Im happy with some things but a lot of what I feel should be basic is not included. Apple need to start thinking for the future, ones the loyal users start waking up, they will be left with no customers

name one other that has complete hassle free automated media management.
oh and it has to actually work lol
i have tried other OS's with very little success and imho the iOS is the best OS for media but thats just me

Look at the type of people who buy an iphone.
It is the 'I' part that sells the phone. 'I" - 'Me"
They are buying it because they like saying I
and no doubt start most of their sentences that way as well
Also the average person buys what is pushed onto them or what they think is cool
The iphone is not that great. Compare it to other phones of a similar price

HI there just wanted to post a feed back . I have used almost every platform mobile , my last one was Galasys and now i am using Iphone4 and at the end i would say that it completely depends upon the person what platform suits him best. I loved android ( used many phones from htc , samsung and Lg) but i hated seriously hated battery consumption of andriod , it doesnot not know when to switch wifi off and GPS. if its on then will remain on untill u manually switch it off. In i phone u dont need to worry about it and it has descent battery life. With android i feel like i am using laptop in terms of battery life.
The features in i phone is simple but advance like i love playing street fighter 4 which any android phone cant play cause graphic limitation. I phone is expensive but u get so many helpful apps according to ur country that makes life easy.
With IOS 5 i dont care they copy r something but will love to see notification bar and my stocks rotating on top and will be love by every business user u would like to manage his company rather managing his mobile.
