i dont understand why these companies are not future proofing their phones which could hav been done using today's technology....customers r ready to pay the quoted price tags...why cant u understand smartphone companies???u try to grab money from customers again and again with non future proofed fone???customers shud become gods 4 u...they r purchasing ur products and they give u food indirectly...u try 2 cheat them...shame on u....

S2 is a monster! Video is amazing!..but dint find anythin striking in the UI. Wish they could just let go of KIES..Its more of a burden..But a great phone!!loving it!

I think its a good and balanced comparison and I liked it. Most of the important factors have been put in comparison and at the end it gives you your chance to choose the best according to your needs. For me according to this review SGS II is the best(5 meters in GPS accuracy is not a big difference for me, its working fine). The reason that theres more comments about sensation in this comparison is that SGS II and O2X have been already put head to head but Sensation is the new comer, so its natural there will be more comments and explanation about it...

but sometimes i don't agree with some of the articles, but i can possibly understand, u guyz did awesome job especially about Head to Head of Smartphone..so keep up the good work!!

Didi, 17 Jun 2011it has to be Droid!! not SymbianSo iPhone is droid huh? :P They have already published a dedicated battery test for N8 and they say that browser is the not among the best.. So they didn't consider it..

with All these Bad Advertisment about HTC sensation ,,,WE STILL LOVE IT>>>>>> Its clear that this article comes to destroy HTC.... but if you take Sensation in your hand and work with it,,,With New Sense you cant Leave it Why YOU GSMARENA didnt Compare User Interface?????HTC rocks With its Interface,,Means you wont feel boring when you work with it,.... Sensation Can Handle All you need.... Trust me.... SGSII takes win in majority of the tested features. "Clear winner" is in fact obvious, though the winner comes short on couple of the features. Win is a win.

LoL hurt fellings about SG2 didn't win clear this one, but is true, there is some more phones with more performance than others.
SG2 have a batterie pealty and a crappy GPS, but still a good phone, but again there's betters and cost a lot less than SG2.
And reading the tests is clear for me SG2 is all but not a king performer over all the other phones. :D

HTC Sensation is a bit of a FAILURE. Maybe 3rd or 4th place next to SGS2, 2X and Atrix.

Happy birthday to GSM ARENA..
You all did a good test. Unlike other commenters, I think this time your review is neutral.
Either way, the choice is us to choose.
As for me, Samsung is a winner from technical wise.
HTC is a winner from build quality wise (including the UI).
LG is a winner from price/performance value wise.
But if money is not a factor, I still choose HTC Sensation...;)

unreliable comparison, I mean gsmarena made lg 2x to be the underdog here and that is not fair,lg 2x is better than this review. I am not an lg fan but the review made some turnarounds and not direct to the point among those 3 phones mentioned, take note "those 3 phones mentioned"

Wow. This is a great review. There's just one thing. I believe that the Sensation achieved such good video playback time benchmarks because of the lower bitrate.

What a very biased review. They included the iPhone 4 on the battery test but not the Nokia N8. Why? My Nokia N8 is the reigning champ when it comes to battery tests and camera.

Actually I find this review to be very helpful. The writer obviously concentrates on the sensation because they already compared the optimus 2X to the Galaxy S2. To those complaining about not using scores it is very clear which one wins in each department. for example the sensation has the best audio output which is the first time I guess htc beat Samsung in this case. The galaxy s2 has the best combination of CPU,GPU and Ram and it has got the best display.
