Nokia E6 review: The E spirit

08 July 2011
Don't let your E71/72 smartphone read this. No, it won't have a heart attack or anything. But you don't want it suddenly feeling sad and useless. You certainly realize the E71/E72 duo is getting old and rusty. Like it or not, it's time to move on. The Nokia E6 will not...

Me, 08 Jul 2011"Symbian Anna is still catching up with Android and iO... moreI belive this answers your question "While Apple and Google are trying to outdo each other with all sorts of user interface innovation, Symbian has just caught up with a few years ago."

It's been months and you still haven't fixed the CPU speed. It's 680 MHz, not 600.

I picked an E6 up last weekend and have used it for a solid week now. The touchscreen really improved the E7x design. It's a great business phone. It's not going to turn any heads or impress your friends, but it will let you get everything you need/want/have to get done effortlessly. It's a great phone, and I'm very happy with mine. I don't think it is going to win over the masses, but if you're looking for a business phone that can still entertain on the side, the E6 is a great package.

Me, 08 Jul 2011"Symbian Anna is still catching up with Android and iO... moreyou are absolutely right. I have played with this mobile almost 45 minutes in nokia store. It is amazingly fast than galaxy s and samsung galaxy pro as well as LG optimus 550. Touch screen sensitivity is good. but either this reviewer doesnt know what exact thing to specify or they r doing intentionally. price is a bit on higher side, but i think by a month or so, it will come down to 15000 indian rupees, more appropriate.

"The right side only features the microUSB port covered with a small plastic lid", it should be :" The left side..."

"Symbian Anna is still catching up with Android and iOS"

Instead of blanket statements like this, how about specifying exactly how Android and iOS are preferable? By more eye candy? By simpler UI? Right now it sounds just like some nonsense people like to repeat over and over, similarly to saying Windows 7 is not good on tablets.
