HTC Titan and HTC Radar hands-on: HTC media event

01 September 2011
HTC's pre-IFA event was (as suspected) all about Windows Phone 7 Mango. HTC had a lot to say about the new version of the OS and what they've added to it, but also showcased two new phones - the 4.7" monster called HTC Titan and the smaller Radar... Update, September 2nd: hands-on videos

Not impressed by the new hardware, CPU and RAM are good enough for WP7, but I expected a better resolution (at least for a big screen like that) and much more internal storage. No need to upgrade from Omnia 7 if this is the "Mango-standard".

WP7 doesn't require dual core processor as it has efficient memory utilization unlike android which is bloated and second grade... compare this with any dual core android and you ll see where WP7 scores

Why do some people hate and critisize too much on Nokia's move to WP7? And people are praising HTC too much in their Mango phones? And dont bother with Samsung as well? Anyway, I'd still go for Meego...Nokia N9.:-)

jeeylu, 01 Sep 2011I don't know.. Dual core smartphones CPU has been around f... moreDual core? Y do u need dual core? What does it added? I just don't get it. I have an Omnia 7, i believe it has one core at 1ghz, and everything is fast and snappy. Games run fine and smooth, videos playback fine. I mean can you explain what a dual core will add.

                I don't know..
Dual core smartphones CPU has been around for almost a year or so; and they come with this.. this midrange hardware.
So, WP 7 is not helping phone manufacturers and is not helping consumers. WP7 is too stiff.
