I don't like the size and design. I'll stick to my SG2, when it gets the ICS it will be as good as this one (better cameras make for the smaller resolution)

And what happens when apple pie or whatever they call it cones out and they say only 2012 high end handsets will get it......
The only way to end fragmentation is to make it compatible with ALL devices old and new.
Until that happens then fragmentation will still be a massive problem.

I like everything on this phone.. except its even bigger than my SGS2.. way too much size for a phone sorry, its bordering ridiculous and you would look like an absolute tool using a phone that big.. no matter how good the resolution is.

camera quality is quite nice actually, and the colors feel vibrant but the video had a few glitches , hopefully it will be fixed until the release date

They haven't gotten rid of gmail... Just the build on you phone is very odd... gmail was a major part of the presentation in Hong Kong...

Wow.. Shots taken using the camera even have I nice big pink(redish) spot in the middle of them. If this was a Nokia GSM would have decried outrage.
Can't wait until Nokia release a better Windows smartphone. Indeed, this is the only thing holding me back from changing the OS I currently use.

Imagine when people tell them their iPhone 3GS from 2009 got the latest iOS5, the very day it was launched without any delay.

Samsung should better update SG2 to icecream sandwitch like they did it to SG1.
A lot of customers will be pissed off if they are noticed that there will be no update coming.

I love the freaking resolution.
Unlike so called qHD(960x540) which not many apps and images are available(the one of main reason i sold the HTC Sensation after purchasing it 5 days) due to it's limited number of divices are using that resolution.
However, like 800x480, 1280x720 has widely used for laptop. Many images and apps will be easily cutomised! Oh this is just great for the developer and user as well.
You see HTC and motolora? you should drop that pathetic so called qHD resolution. That really bugs the users.

I am happy with Samsung. Yes they wanted to make a good phone to introduce us to Android 4.0 but they will keep the galaxy s series as their best phones. I can't wait to get Icecream on my SGS2.

Finally a high-end, quality phone with a notification LED but why exclude the all-important microSD slot???! What where they smoking at Google and Samsung not to include one?

It was designed to do very little and has grown from that. That's why it uses less resources, but it's not really a "full OS". Why do you think Nokia is building Meltemi, a Linux OS even for their low-end devices?
