i'm using galaxy y and i never encountered such problems ( as far as i am concerned). I got mine from a carrier here in the pihlippines and luckily a headset was included in the package. To all haters, this is an entry level smartphone so don't compare it to other med and high end smartphones. to tell you, samsung supplies memory cards, chips, lcd's and almost anything that you see on most smartphones today. The much anticipated google nexus??? Samsung built it! so its still a phone worth for anyone's budget.

dont waste money on galaxy y I would say its waste low resolution,ram,camera, worst multitasking better if can you spend 10k then go for LG optimus net

How can you compare the wildfire s to the galaxy y,i work in retail and the wildfire s is 2 and half times it price.So compare it build quality is a little unfair.

first of all change the version of android it comes with default 2.3.5,secondly it has a 832 processor,thirdly please dont copy paste samsung mini's review

those htc fanboys have any idea who supplies s-lcd?
what galaxy is using is an identical display from an identical manufacture(Samsung).
camera? i haven't seen any review that states htc tops in a camera department.
build quality? It's freaking one of the best. You don't like polycabonate plastic which is used in the best fighter aircraft, F-22 raptor? fine, you can carry around a heavy brick instead. No one gonna stop you.
best of all Sense UI? It's heavy UI, using hell a lot of RAM and draining more juice.
I prefer more direct, simple and less-power hungry UI for the high-end and also for low-end phone like galaxy y.

MdN, 23 Nov 2011My ancient Nokia E51 has the same display resolution (240x3... moreyour nokia e51 is good for talking and throwing away careless in your car or everywhere. this is all you can do with nokia e51. internet browsing is a mess and you can't compare a hard-keys old device with a android touch screen. it is like comparing an old good s-vhs videorecorder wich was 500 euro with a cheap new dvd recorder wich is now 200 euro, but it overcome in every detail the old video. beside e51 was a model in the middle of the range of nokia, not the cheapest.

i had this phone and i can say its value for money... but dont expect too much for this phone. with the smallish screen, typing is a choir. but if you like simple and neat android phone then this one's for you.
