Anonymous, 21 Jan 2012I can't believe that the audio quality of this phone is tha... moreI agree with you too! Maybe the GSMArena team recieved a faulty Lumia 710 and dared not ask for a replacement.
There's no way that the audio quality of Nokia's Lumia 710 are dissapointing unless there are defects in the audio components.
I once asked a Nokia Care Singapore staff in the VivoCity Nokia Care Centre that I wanted to test one of their of demo Lumia 710 units with my N8's headset and the audio quality is as same the Lumia 800* if not comparable. (I tested the Lumia 800 in the same place with the same staff's permission)
So GSMArena, replace your Lumia 710 first, then re-review it and you guys know what I'm talking about.

Sails, 21 Jan 2012I love it how people are up in arms about the front camera,... moreThat's what I do too. I recommend the Lumia 710, 800 or 900 to my friends. Some of them have the iPhone 4S, SGS 2 and the Galaxy Note. Some laughs at my suggestions but I keep advocating the Lumia's and I try to raise awareness on how unsafe and bad Android is. I hope that someday, we will see the implosion of Android, the rise of WP, and Nokia's 2nd golden age.

I can't believe that the audio quality of this phone is that bad. I bet it's a faulty unit or there's something really wrong with the test.

I will buy Nokia 701 instead of this windows phone crap! Symbian Belle is fantastic, Nokia just needs to produce bigger screens for Symbian!

I think it's a nice move to see from Nokia that they often choose not to manufacture in China or India

How can Nokia expect this phone to sell well with the Younger Generation,as the Top function on this phone is missing,as the youngsters love using Bluetooth to send an recieve photos an music between there friends phone,an no micro sd card slot lets this phone down as well,Mr Elop as got Nokia in a really bad situation now by choosing Windows,as it not even got no relationship with Symbian,Symbian an Android are closer related, but Mr Elop was just more bothered about helping Microsoft an as not thought about Improving Nokia,so bye bye Nokia i have got the Samsung Galaxy S2 which is miles better than any Lumia phone produced

I love it how people are up in arms about the front camera, but nobody ever uses it and on the phones that have a front facing camera the quality is so terrible you can barely recognize the person.
Personally I think Lumia 710 is a phone I can easily recommend to people. WP7 keeps things simple, the HW is very powerful for the price, I trust in Nokia quality and it will have lot less compability / update / etc. issues than Androids in the same price range.

I'm very disappointed with the audio quality of Lumias. Windows Phone is a good OS...but some important features are missing(file manager, microSD support).
I was waiting for the GSMArena review of the Lumia 710...after the results of audio quality test, it has become much more easier for me to decide.
I'm going to buy a 701!
And, Android sucks!

You people amaze me, is it so hard to understand that this is a low budget phone meant to familiarize and saturate the masses with wp7? You cant expect it to come with multicore glory, samoled screen, 12mp cam and be priced cheaply. Have you not seen the high end lumia 900and 800? Why are you talking about nokia not making good phones, with the knowledge of higher end models being released in tandem with this? Are you just finding a means to 'hate'on nokia?
