Lumia is gud as whatever be the reason Samsung phones are way behind there battery backup is initially gud but after sometime is deteriorates too much....no variety in Samsung phones all luk the same as the other

... moreApps from Nokia runs on Omnia W (after unlock of course). On lumia, u can't unlock screen, by pressing start button, on SOW - u can. Otherwise battery on SOW is shitty. max 20h. Omnia W has got one of the best cameras for macro scenes. Even proffesional cameras are worse

Omnia W has Front facing camera and it supports Video Calling over 3G. This feature is not available in Lumia 800 and 710. I guess only Lumia 900 has front facing camera. But not sure if it supports Video calling over 3G.

Guys i have been usin omnia for two months now. And one thing i can say is its amazing. Grt display , looks , performance . Just outstanding. I have used x 10 , htc desire . But no one gave me such
performance. 5 stars.

I want to buy samsung w omnia,but some distributers are saying this is a waste phone because its window have many prob and create some problem,but i want to ths phone.pls guy suggest me truely..i go for omnia or not pls..

Hi friends, i was totally taken with the Samsung Omnia till yesterday based only on hard facts available in sites etc. But i recently saw and held both phones live. I felt that Omnia display is very harsh as compared to the Lumia which was soothing. Also, the look and feel was not very premium in the omnia. It could be a personal preference but i prefer slightly heavier phones. So the Lumia makes sense to me. The only thing which worries me is the battery life. Though i would not be playing video for three hours, but with my calls and browsing and gaming it should last a full day. Any complaints with normal usage? Does it last the full day? Currently using an E5-00.

1. It's a windows phone mango. Which mak... moreSome Serious Reasons why This Phone is good :(Windows phone either lumia or omnia)
1.Both very decent GPU (As Apple says iPod Touch is best Hand held , it has A4 chip with 512 MB RAM(on iPhone 4) instead of 256 MB RAM of iPod Touch, This one has adreno 205 which is same as the one present in sony xperia "Play" and adreno has slight edge over Apple's A4/iPad 1 because even today many developers still focus on phone running with 256 MB RAM and lower GPUs)
2.Very decent App market but little expensive compared to iOS and Android which have same quality , already 70,000 apps available , many are free too.
3.512 MB RAM still an industry standard because even latest phones have 1 GB of RAM , Android uses too much RAM due to launchers and UI's while iOS every upgrade is increasing RAM usage but still buttery smooth , Overall many apps like 90% dont need more than 256 MB RAM specified phones on any store either Windows or iOS.
4.Decent Camera and Decent Screen for the price.
Omnia W better screen though and also better battery.
5.No SD-slot but Skydrive is there
6.Nokia means amazing navigation and integrated apps.
7.Omnia has front camera,metal back.
So decision is ,
Navigation/Integrated features Vs Videochat/better battery/good Screen
8.Overall Windows Phones are really polished and pretty well maintained , If u are bored of iOS and sick of useless customizations and UI's of android , WP is way to go.

I love both phone, but the problem is omnia w is not coming to my country....WP is the best...(in the software design, voice navigation and also the phone-book backup ...)

I think of buying a wp next week. But i am drowned in thinking which one is a better wp_lumia710 or Omnia w??.. I know that, in hardware omnia W wins and has ffc for video cal, but in software nokia lumia wins.. Is this true??
plz let me know this frns___
1) in downloading n uploading files which wp_(lumia710 or omnia w) is better?
2) In gaming.. and
3) which wp has more preety cool apps..?

even omnia w has 720p recording . Plus, it even has a secondary camera which i think is very important now that Skype is integrated . Overall, omnia w beats Lumia 710 .
