                      i use that duos so:
first sim in 3g for internet and calls and second sim on 2g only for calls and it works fine on both sims. looks very fine and consumers are under control.
screen is a little bit bad, but for bigger entertainment i use other devices ;) like tablet or computer.
sometimes it had problems with sd-cart. sd-csrt reading on wakening is little bit slow.

I've owned this phone for almost a month and this one still works fine. The dual-SIM works nicely and the battery lasts normally. Still, this Y Duos is a basic android phone so there are not many great apps available for it. If you are the basic user, then it won't be matter. Still, the Play Store offers some basic apps and games.

So, Galaxy Y Duos is really intended for the user that care enough for the smartphone basic standards and have more active SIMs.

I still wish Samsung will make a middle-class smart phone with a double SIM system. I think it will be rock!

Zte u960 is still the only smartphone with real dual sim capabilities (Duao sim full active so you can alsa receive call on sim2 when using sim1 for another call).
Unfortunally can only be buyed from chinese store...

Got this phone for second week. It works just fine for me, there is just one 'but' and it takes music player. I am used to use my phone as mp3 player cca twice a week. With Galaxy y duos there is so much distortion that its not usable as mp3 player at all. Big dissappointment for me. What's your experience ?

During the video you can see that the time has been changed on the phone for the purpose of the video. When starting, the time is displayed as "13:37" "leet" in geek talk. During the video you see that the logs had usage shown from later in the same day. Just wondering GSMArena, why did you change the time of the phone from what ever it was to display "13:37" on the phone at the start of the video?

Ketut, 29 Apr 2012Finally there's a review 4 this phone, thank you GSMArena b... moreYes, you can receive a call on Sim A if you are connected to internet on Sim B. Only restriction is that if you are on call on Sim A, then incoming calls on Sim B receives a "Not Reachable or Switch off" message.
The phone has a major problem with the battery goes on only for a day.
