Such a big display with only 20 icons on it? Looks like too much trouble trying to reach them quickly.

Anonymous, 09 May 2012" And there are no two ways about it - the Galaxy S II... moreAlso the 3D gaming stuff. Plus, synthetic benchmarks don't tell the whole story.

" And there are no two ways about it - the Galaxy S III is the fastest smartphone right now, occasionally beating its opponents by quite a wide margin."
I don't get this part of the review. The GS2 lost to the One S/X in some benchmarks and won in others. The only benchmark that it beat everyone by a large margin was browsermark.
Also, you guys say the pictures are better but can you PLEASE do some low light testing. That's the main difference I suspect ebtween the One X and the GS3 because the One X has the far superior f/2.0 aperture lens.

Damn benchmark, of all phones, why is Galaxy Note N7000 not included in other benchmark comparisons, and only the Galaxy Note 10.1? Is this because Galaxy Note N7000 may score more than the S3?
I need to know because, i better have N7000 than this S3...
Can somebody do some benchmarking or comparison of S3 and Galaxy Note N7000?

Just where are smart phones going. Why get excited with who is the fastest or has the largest dick when it is not relevant to 99% of people. But yes well done to Samsung even if it will not be as great as SII. Will I buy it. Personally yes, if not Android as there is just too many security concerns with all things Google at the moment and frankly just too much corporate hacking so from a business perspective we have to stick with another well known secure device. Pity but there we go. I wonder just how secure are all mobiles these days.

AnonD-2731, 09 May 2012I dont understand one thing about samsung lovers.
when app... moreJust because it works :D
By the way I do not understand that some people favour a brand like a football team. They dont give them any salary why are these people break into pieces themselves.
We are the end users. Ongoing competition is good for us. Prices are decreasing, innovation increasing...

I'm an iPhone 4 user but i'm planning to get new Galaxy S3 as I feel little bit uncomfortable with iPhone's small screen size especially when I'm texting and browsing internet.
It was no game between iOS and Android 2 yrs ago but now Android has been improved a lot in number of apps and it’s UI.
Of course, Galaxy S3 outweighs iPhone 4S in hardware specs but I don't think it won't make huge difference in typical mobile phone usage (e.g texting, browsing, listening to music).
Personally speaking, iPhone has better design than galaxy s3, but I realised that design won't matter as time goes by as I am getting bored by using and looking the phone all the day.
To sum up, I now care about practicality of the mobile device and its functions that suit my own purposes of utilising a smart-phone.
Design only lasts few days, but practicality and suitability last entire days till you discard the phone.

This phone will sell like hot cakes when it comes out but I'm so disappointed with the design. The specs are amazing(except pentile display) but I mean for a high end flagship phone, this phone is not better than the HTC One X!

AnonD-2731, 09 May 2012I dont understand one thing about samsung lovers. when app... moreI've only seen Apple fans bashing the S-voice, not Samsung fans praising S-voice. Also, I think you misunderstood. No one said Siri was bad, people have been saying "My Android phone can do that too".

Htc one X, almost equally powerful, but much much better in terms of quality and looks. Power is not all, I mean, for what do you need all this. Charm and looks is something, One x, got it.
