Yoruba, 02 Sep 20125 days after purchased,back to the store and service 'cause... moreI have never had a phone with so many faults had Sony all my days so slow freezes over heats just comes out of what your doing phone number keep disappearing keep having to take battery out of it takes forever to do something pages get stuck low ring volume I could go on all day but would take the phone forever its that slow :@:@:@

I am using xperia U from last one year and have no problem, but i think task manager of this phone is week i mean many apps when you open them you can't close them completely and they run in back ground...

I buy tis phone week before.., its nice to use.., but my phone hangs now recently and it shows XPERIA ACTIVITY HOME not responding.., can anyone help me!

What the hell! I bought xperia u last september. Touch screen has already gone! Touch is not working! No warrenty. Can u imazin only 3 month! i am a medical student, i brought the mobile by selling my anatomy skeleton set.

It will officially upgrade to Ice Cream Sandwich (4.0.4) in most regions. Sony have stated that Jelly Bean (4.1) will NOT be released for this model, although a generic version may be available through other channels if you unlock/root which will invalidate any warranty.

Had phone about 2 weeks now.
IMHO
Lovely Sony styling and build(i'm more the square type).
Excellent screen (even if a tad small) would suit younger eyes & smaller fingers/styli.
Smooth efficient operation overall...smart Sony UI.
Speaker (even with xLoud on) is average hence doesn't kill battery.
Sound thru my Denon AH-P372 headphones is good/v.good, while thru the supplied MH750s is good.
Rear Camera is good/reasonable (might have to play with settings to get best results, video is ok(a bit noisy, but it is only a phone).
Reception power on wifi & calls seems reasonable.
Battery life ok, i've purchased a spare.
As for storage memory, i've resisted filling it with music/videos, i've ordered a minature usbA/microusbB angled adapter and a minaturised microSD card reader...both purchased for approx total of £5.
So i'm hoping the memory issue will be solved, i think it is better than a concealed microSD as backing up regime is likely to be more rigorous, plus sharing the memory card is more straight forward.
All in all v.happy with my 1st smartphone.
A 'free' phone on £10/month contract(UK).
but that Experia Z....hmmmm

MAG, 30 Aug 2012Impresive rewiew but I misss the most important. How perf... morePoor in low coverage area. Does not pick up signals once u come out of low coverage, only restart will get the signals back. Poor in antena capability.
