Nokia 808 PureView blind test: The sum of all pixels

The Nokia 808 PureView has finally landed in swirling storms of hype. And of course, it wasn't given a chance to catch a breath. We didn't meet it empty-handed either. We had a finger on the shutter of some mean cameraphones and an EVIL digicam...

    E is the best. B is 2nd best. I hope E is the Pureview.

          E is the best in all photos and I think that PureView mode is behind that.

              I have already posted what I think is the best but I have now noticed you are using 8mp pureview mode and I would just like to suggest that you somehow make use of the default 5mp PureView mode because it has been optimized (and designed) to work best in that mode.

                My vote

                1. E (808)...... Pureview!
                2. F (Olympus).. Sharp & Warm
                3. A (N8)....... Natural colors & No processing
                4. B (4S)....... Overzealous colors
                5. D (S3)....... Oversharpening
                6. C (One X).... Still a long way

                                  E,F,B,D,A,C
                                  -E and F are very close, but E has slightly more sharpness and natural colors. Rest are not so sharp or sharpness is artificial (artifacts)

                                        I'm guessing (in order of best pictures/camera):
                                        E - Olympus E-PL2.
                                        F - Nokia 808
                                        D - Nokia N8 (D&B are pretty close)
                                        B - HTC One X
                                        A - Iphone 4s (Equal with C)
                                        C - SGS3
