Nokia 808 PureView blind test: The sum of all pixels

The Nokia 808 PureView has finally landed in swirling storms of hype. And of course, it wasn't given a chance to catch a breath. We didn't meet it empty-handed either. We had a finger on the shutter of some mean cameraphones and an EVIL digicam...

          F - Nokia N8

            Everyone knows that E and F are the best and everyone knows that the PureView is either E or F. So I'm sure that anyone that says that another one is the best shot is certanly simply bashing the phone. Only a blind person or a troll can say that A, B, C or D are better than E and F.

                What this proves is at screen sizes any of these phones are good enough. The benefit of the better resolution and noise only comes into play at higher resolution or in prints.

                      Best: F, B, then E.
                      Worst: A, D, and finally C is a total mess.

                      Beginner? Here is what to look for.
                      1) Notice the noise and oversharpening in the second 100% crop, especially on C.
                      2) Finally, notice the differences in the detail, especially in foliage in the bottom left of the first 100% crop.
                      3) D is consistently overexposed.
