I just picked up this phone. If you're looking for a speed demon, it's self evident that this phone is not for you so those commenting about lack of dual-core etc. should wait for a high-performance dual-sim phone, which is not too far away. It's an average android phone performance wise but that's OK for me since I don't do any gaming. I see a bit of lag in response but not enough to be annoying. The screen is bright and beautiful and viewability is good from all angles. The battery charge gets eaten up if you are using the internet, as a hotspot etc.: I didn't use it that much but I am guessing a couple of hours of continuous use only before recharge. With a little bit of internet use and calling I got about two and a half days before recharge was needed. Photos were of decent quality (I didn't test it that much) but video was really what was a disappointment for me because VGA movie recording is so yesterday and at least 720P HD should be standard now, especially in a phone that costs almost Rs 17K on the street. Of course, the dual-sim feature is why you would want to buy this phone in the first place and it is works well. You can set up one or the other for data and you can also set it up to receive calls from one sim if you're talking on the other. I recommend this phone for someone who does not want to be carrying two phones or those going abroad who want to use the Indian carrier SIM while using a local SIM.

rusty, 20 Aug 2012I stil dont get WHY no vendor will come with a high-end, fl... moreI don't get it either. I frequently travel between two countries and always switching SIM cards or carrying two phones is a major hassle. I know several people in similar situations.
It seems that phone manufacturers think that only cheapskates who want to take advantage of promotions and different calling plans are interested in dual SIM phones. Not true!
At least the S7562 is a step in the right direction and I will probably give it a try, but I'd really prefer a more high-end phone with more processing power.

Running ICS out of the, and also with enough specs to run Jelly Bean (Android 4.1) - 4-inch display; 1Ghz processor; 768MB RAM; 4GB internal memory and so on. It sure beats any dual SIM android smartphone available in the Nigerian market today. I can't wait until it is available in Nigeria, and for how much in the local currency which is the naira.
