OPTIMUS G is the best and fastest (almost twice . 1st snapdragon s4 pro chipset with cortex A15 QUAD core , 2GB ram) than any of samsung / htc /apple shits

PLEASE DONT BUY ANY PHONE IF YOU ARE NOT SATISFIED WITH OS COMING WITH PHONE. WAIT FOREVER .... as new OS will release every year

Optimus G is the fastest among s3,one-x or iphone 5 . samsung/htc/apple fans still not believing s3/one-x/iphone-5 is dethrowned. and regarding the update jelly bean is a minor Os version 4.0 -> 4.1 is not difficult as 2.3 -> 4.0 as there is no major change in linux kernel and chipset is qualcomm( optimus 2x was not updated to 4.0/4.1 because nvidia not released the kernel 3+ and drivers for ics/jellybean) ... so still we lg fans knows that this phone will get a jellybean update. Optimus G / Vu -2 / L9 / 4xHD are the best phones in market .. lg fans ... lg rocks

The lg optiums g has as five camera linces like iPhone 4s and iPhone 5 and it's kind of combination between iPhone and Samsung galaxy s3.

how did LG manage to use the APQ 8064 cpu on this phone, everything i read said it was for tablets and it had no baseband, in order to use it it needed to be paired with a cpu with baseband

PowerVR 6xx - Rogue, 19 Sep 2012you ahould not dream about the TI omap 5 chip, but rather o... morei chose TI OMAP since its higher clocked+ bootloader is usually unlocked by default unlike snapdragon & novathor.Although I agree Novathor is more battery friendly and power VR 6xxx is a powerfull GPU.
720p is enough for 4.7 inch screen.1080p will put unnecessary load on GPU

... moreyou ahould not dream about the TI omap 5 chip, but rather on a STM NovaThor a9600 chip - it would have the new PowerVR 6xx graphics - not the current 5xx series which would be in the omap5!
and why don't you want a 1080p screen? 1080p is the resolution that all content aspire and converge to! and if you have 1080p screen - 1080p content doesn't have to be converted - you get 1:1 pixel to pixel correlation!

Either the CPU rocks or 2GB RAM makes all the difference. Comparing a Galaxy Note 2 could prove the point.
