LG Optimus G preview: A closer look

LG has a poor record of bringing software updates.
In order to succeed, LG must change that and provide updates for its devices - and within a decent time period.
they should promise in advance that they would provide opdates for at least 2-3 years.

with this new flagship model, LG have started with the wrong foot - because already at launch it has an outdated android version.

love the design, gotta say though after watching the vids not as impressed as i was hoping.. scrolling the UI looked rather choppy and lg's UI looks very bland.
plus alot of those features show just look useless in real use.
had high hopes now thinking otherwise.. might wait for the next batch of quad s4 krait phones to come out

Update! The most important feature of smartphone is updated software! LG has always come short on its lousy aftersales support... If they can do this right can provide updates to their flagships without delays den LG can come up top! Den only i would consider buying... Lets see how LG perform then.

Now that is some powerful performance. I agree with gsmarena. It should have had jellybean out of the box. Its not like everyone knows how to flash custom roms or has enough guts to do it. Guess the potential buyers are gonna have to trust LG to bring the update on time (sooner, rather than a year later).
