Its a great phone its water proof as it fell out my pocket into the pond and even tho it says don't drop it on hard surfaces i dropped it whilst answerering it up a ladder and yea it still works as for sound you can download apps to improve audio out put the up side is I've learned that you can play music whilst recording a video , video calling great on it was on the phone 2 hours to family I really don't see a down side to it

I've just had this smartphone in my hands because I'm at a store and let me tell you... It's lightning fast!!!!!!! It's just super fast! Wow!
And it feels and looks much more expensive than it really is. It's very pretty indeed.
Ok, that said, I currently have an Xperia Pro (S2,1GHz,Adreno 205) and as a quite advanced user I'm just loving it! It's so complete both in software and hardware. Yeah... Not slow, not buggy, all fine.
So, this Motorola is not a bad choice at all, being single core and with such speed and not bad GPU I would go for it if I had to choose even if I weren't in a budget.
Speaking of GPU, would any of you be kind to me and give me some ideas of comparison between my Adreno 205 and this Motorola's GPU? In terms of performance my Xperia Pro does very good despite its not awesome specs, so I would expect something better from this Motorola, am I right?
I can play, with my Xperia Pro, nicely, games like Nova3, Modern Combat 3,4, Asphalt 6,7 Need For Speed series, etc. All find and very fun!
Should I expect something better from this Moto? To the level of Adreno 220 maybe?
I need to look for some benchmarks! But I know my Xperia Pro scoring 4700 in Antutu benchmark can do great, I'd like to know how would do this Motorola Razr i!
It's desing is tempting, ha. And it has some pros being resistant to water, and it's screen is bright, it's speed just great!
Does someone know if it has tv out?
It's clearly not a best contender to Qualcomm's S3 or S4s, but I believe what it's got would be more than enough to please even the most sceptic user! What do you think?

AnonD-57901, 09 Oct 2012Intel inside, moto outside, overall nice......lolllzI have bought razr i and im not happy with the sound quality. To be honest i heve newer seen a phone with that bad sound quality . I have tried diffrent music players and headsets without any luck. Previously i had atrix 4g and despite the battery life the phone was great no problems at all.
There are few things in the phone that user want to have and good sound is one of the most important things.

well it looks a good phone. but performs average. the theory is should be fast. but most dual core even at 800mhz seem much faster. and the apps just wont work on this platform. very limited but looks a good phone.

Perfect form factor and excellent battery life. Despite being a bit of a geek, this was the first smartphone I've bought, because it ticks all the boxes that no other smartphones have so far.
Unfortunately there is a flaw in the handset that completely lets it down for me. The problem is high levels of hiss / interference when a speaker is connected to the 3.5mm jack while audio is not playing. There is also an unpleasant thump when the audio output turns on (i.e. immediately prior to playing audio) or off (a few moments after audio output is stopped).
The hiss/EM interference noise reduces significantly immediately before and after playing audio i.e. seems to go down to an acceptable level once audio chip is taken out of 'sleep' mode.
This happens regardless of whether the device is connected to wall socket. I tried various things - temporarily disabling MusicFX app and doing a factory reset – no luck unfortunately.
I have had the issue now with two handsets, both from Handtec (who have been excellent in terms of dealing with my return promptly and fairly). Currently I suspect this is an issue affecting all Razri handsets, unless someone can confirm otherwise?
I am sending mine back for a full refund. If Motorola fix the issue and someone is able to confirm that it's been resolved, I'll up the review to 5 stars and make my purchase.
If you are one of those people who would never connect your phone to anything except cheap earphones, and you're not fussed about audio quality when playing through speakers/decent headphones, I can strongly recommend this phone.

To anyone complaining about the non-matching physical button designs: it actually seems to be a functional requirement, for the power and camera buttons anyway. The camera button has to be such that you do not accidentally press it while holding the phone normally, and this designs, where the buttons is pushed slightly towards the back of the phone, and is sunken into the frame, satisfied that. The power button, on the other hand, should be easily pressable while you hold the phone normally. Of course, the volume rocker could have at least the same colour as the other buttons. But I like the "raw" design of the phone.
What I don't like so much is the super-poor WIFI reception, and high noise levels in audio jack output. And, having been a long time Symbian user before this, the fact that Android in 2012 doesn't have task support in the calendar!

Nick, 15 Oct 2012th3, I can see pixels on iPhone 4/4s. Yes, it is possible t... moreYeah LG is pretty hopeless, they dont get performance and battery life on real, they are great only on paper. I hav a bro who is Samsung and AMOLED fan, since the original Galaxy S came out, when he learned that LG is also a Korean brand he got quiet a few seconds before he said "Ok, so they are from korea also? North Korea then". He has a strong point here, there is something "lowtech" over LGs phones, very rough edges. Same goes for other LG products, for example airconditioners, very weak, not so cold and not power efficient (but in all fairness, Samsung airconditioners are good only when brand new as well, Koreans dont know how to make durable compressors, they copy Matsushita but cant match them)
Anyway, battery is extremely interesting since we here have an Intel chipset, hope for more details on the Razr M vs the Razr i on this.

AnonD-4340, 14 Oct 2012Pixelation on 3 gs and older, obviously, the PPI is lower t... moreth3, I can see pixels on iPhone 4/4s. Yes, it is possible to see them on diagonal figures, but it is beyond normal use.
I have a chance to compare HTC Evo qHD LCD and HTC One S qHD AMOLED and iPhone 4S IPS. One S and Evo fonts look similar except blueish halo on the left side of the character on PenTile if you look closer. 4s has a little bit more clear fonts.
Still two questions to every person:
1. Do you see PenTile in NORMAL use?
2. Can you live with that?
Yes, I would prefer HD screen... Xperia V for example... but it is not so compact unfortunately. Size is more important for me.
Bad AMOLED power consumption for web browsing is a marketing from LG. I agree that white objects are not power friendly for AMOLED, but it is not 2.0x times as LG says.
Look at GSMarena web browsing tests:

LG 4x (2150mAh, 4.7" IPS) - 3:59
Samsung SIII (2100mAh, 4.8" AMOLED) - 5:17
