Apple iPhone 5 vs. Samsung Galaxy S III: All rise

I'm not a Samsung fan, and I'm not an iPhone fan. But these 2 devices are really close. I would go for the iPhone 5 if I had to choose between both phones. But if I had to BUY one of these myself, I would go for the Samsung, simply because it's cheaper and it got the same (even some better) features.

Price is the most important thing to consider in buying a smarphone and next is its functionality... we decided to go for samsung sg3.

Switched to Samsung G-3 from new iPhone and will never go back to Apple. Samsung for everyday use is better by a country mile. Good review, but a bit biased toward apple. Truth be told if you factor the price into the comparison and actually handle the G-3 u will find the size is just perfect.. G-3 beats the pants off i-5. The freedom of Android and Android apps is amazing.

The battle is tie here....but by seing the price obviously pick S3...

It's only becasue the sheep-like Apple fans won't consider the superior Samsung brand and Android OS that its sales are better. If you knew your stuff like the testers of GSM Arena you would see that the Galaxy S3 wins easily on points - by 2 according to the review and I would say by 3 as the still camera win for the iphone 5 was minimal at best and I would have said another tie there. Not bad for a phone that has already been on sale 6 months and will no doubt be getting an improved update long before iphone 6 is even thought about. at this rate Samsung will have an S5 out before the next step up from Apple!

As for the display quality: there's something wrong with you claiming the Top 3 are: Nokia 808, SGS 3 and iPhone 5. Where's the HTC One X? One X is being considered best phone screen in the market in most of the reviews.

If I wanted to see who has text me then i would use the messaging app. This really annoys me on my s3 as it always takes forever to find people that have recently called.
Apart from that it is easily the best phone i have ever owned

*"4" screen can be operated by one hand" - You can still do that with the S3.
*"reject a call with sms" - that has been with Android for a while.
*"apple maps" - You're kidding yourself! Have you tried using this?!
*"32gb is enuf with icloud" - the S3 has up to internal 64GB + another 64GB for micro SD, & has cloud service. My audio collection is about 30GB+ now. Yes, it's a great thing you have a lot more room for even movies & tv shows & more apps.
*"its camera is way better with the new panorama features" - Geez! Panoramic photo functions has been around for 3 years on free apps!

Since I bought my S3 4 months ago, i was going to sell it back due to its huge size, but after 1 week i was glad that i did the switch over my C7 as i was a Nokia fanboy, and since then i never touched my tablets anymore(Samsung Tab1 & Lenevo Pad) and i was almost going to buy a PSP before the S3 to play portable games. The S3 is perfect in everything shooting pix, playing games, surfing the web and social medias, playing videos, navigation etc... the S3 is simple the best and you don't need to buy or carry on any other new devices (Navigators, PSP or Nintendo or even tablets), even i was so eager to buy the Nexus 7 due to the Tegra and the cheap price but then i didn't as i will not take it anywhere with me and since the release of the Note2 with its perfect SPen i might do the switch soon.
I am pretty sure the reason behind that Apple don't want to make the screen bigger isn't to keep the phone operated with one hand as they just don't care about their clients needs it's simply because they can sells their ipads and their new mini-ipad and to earn more money.
