The screen is not vibrant. Puts me off immediately. I thought it is a good tablet going by the specs but with a lifeless screen it is extremely disappointing. Even a P1000 an old Galaxy Tab looks better. Google got to mprove the screen quality even though they have improve the pixel count.

"Also, there's no address search in the cached maps and you can only cache map data in supported regions of the world."

Does this mean that if I wanted to use a cached map from Google maps I wouldn't be able to use GPS to navigate to an address? I'm a taxi driver and considering buying a Nexus 10 mainly to use for GPS navigational purposes. I believe other GPS navigation apps probably would do what I want if Google Maps doesn't, right?

shouldve used Asus to make the 10" too. Samsung obviously wont make a better tablet than their note.

all this talk of retina this retina that. its just crap man. you dont need a retina display. the screen on the nexus 7 is amazing. and so is this. 1080p video look stunning on this. so why all the hype its just marketing hype.

I got mine N10 today. Own Galaxy Tab 10.1 as well. I have to say I like android 3 honeycomb interface for tablet environment much better. Pop-up menu with toggles under your right thumb, back/home/switch buttons under your left thumb. Totaly messed up in Jelly Bean. Had to install 3rd party toggles.
BUT what is important, web browsing is sooo much smoother and faster compared to my GT10.1. That was the point for me buying the N10 anyway.
And yes - display is gorgeous. Google currents feeds look much better. I am surprised that lot of stuff at play store has new hi-res icons already. No light bleed at all. Overall I am very satisfied.

There is no doubt that Google Nexus 7 is great. However,Google Nexus 7 also has a few drawbacks, like the storage space is not expandable and only one camera. Why not try Ainol Novo 7 Venus? Ainol Novo 7 Venus is a great alternative in my opinion. It is also powered by Quad Core CPU ACT-ATM7029 based on Cortex A9 that runs up to 1.5GHz,it has dual cameras, features the same 7 inch 1280X800 IPS screen as Google Nexus 7. One drawback of Ainol Novo 7 Venus is that it has 8GB Nand Flash, but expandable to 32GB - this is very important and matters,I like this. It's sold at $149.99 only from JSXL Technology. I share this just because I think the more choices of Tablet PCs,the better for us.

Finally we can get rid of hideous Galaxy tab 2 10.1 from our store. A Tab from Samsung that I can recommend to our costumers without shame when they consider ipad.

I returned two Nexus 10 because of lightbleed. Why does the review not even mention this problem. There are threads complaining about lightbleed all over the web.

Moreover, the review does not mention that games start to stutter after about 10 minutes due to thermal throtteling.

The tablet also crashes from time to time (probably because Android 4.2 is still buggy).

My Nexus 7 is far better (stable, fast, no lightbleed).

If you buy a Nexus 10 now, you will probably get a bad one. In a few months, it will also be difficult to resell a N10 with lightbleed for a decent price.
