As a SONY fan, i gotta say that this one is a great phone. Getting even more jealous of it's benchmark results.
The only minus to me is no expandable memory.

yeah...there always will be people complaining according to the brand of the phone they have in their pocket right now or according to the brand they represent/sell. Most of all it's clear that the built quality is htc and not some shitsung cheap plastic. I have a Galaxy note 10.1 tablet and I'm seeing new scratches everyday.

kamboj, 28 Feb 2013they should have gone for 13 MP ultrapixels....!!
13 mpixel, or as you say "ultrapixel" (wich is just a marketing name) would mean a 3x bigger sensor, wich would mean at least 1cm thicker...

This phone just has it all!
Spectacular build quality and design
Fantastic screen with the highest ppi ever
Top notch CPU / GPU
2GB of high speed RAM
32 or 64 GB of storage
Big battery
Fifth generation of WiFi standard
LTE,GPS, GLONAS, Bluetooth v4 and NFC
Great camera with the best features out there and optical image stabilisation.
FullHD wide angle front facing camera.
The best sound quality and volume on a mobile device with stereo speakers and internal amplifiers.
A beauty to behold and a beast within.
Giving competition a run for their money since 19.2.2013 those are the FACTS not imagination ;)
All of you fanboys dissing this phone are just living in denial. And stop dissing. If you don't like it buy a cheapish Samsung or whatnot and don't litter this thread.

It also needs more battery. Who cares if the thickness increases a bit for more juice, they will still be slimmer than old smartphones. Phones these days are becoming anorexic.

Finally the almost perfect phone!!! Aluminum body, stereo speakers, 1080p, quad core, 2gb ram...I just only wish the home key would be centered and home/back be an actual tactile button, micro USB port centered, mic on bottom and separate +- volume buttons--would make the phone 100x more user friendly

HTC rushing with 1st quad-core phone(One X), result in somewhat bad optimization, that's why One X+ come out, because they can(should)DO BETTER with One X~ D=

AnonD-73765, 26 Feb 2013HTC stubbornly keep on making phones with non-removable bat... more"They have no imagination" - so true. Add at that cons you said the fact that it looks so much with other flagships and that ultrapixel camera hype, it's just a definitely no for me...

Even the naming scheme of their phones shows what nitwits they are - their latest flagship is HTC One, whereas there are lesser specced and older handsets called One X and One S! They have no imagination and can't even properly name their devices and of course they're ridiculously stubborn!

Julius, 25 Feb 2013You do realize that a 3" divider will make it a larger... moreyou are right but I wanted to stress out that the size of the senzor is still...small, they could have slashed the resolution to just 2MP and then you would have had even bigger pixels - hugeultrapixels but this resolution cut won't help them much as seen from the first impressions and samples which aren't that great...

even with the marketing gimmick of ultra pixel the phones camera is below par on what else there is, in light areas even the crappy iphone beat it, only night shots where around average, go read gsmarenas test they did. the ultra pixel had the right idea just didnt come out very well.
