That is so much BS. The Xperia line is of great quality. I'd rather get some official reviews from operators/carriers than from you.
What I have heard on Esato and XDA forums SONYs phones beat almost all the other brands.
Of course there has been some models with problems, but generally speaking - SONY ROCKS.

Anonymous, 26 Feb 2013The funny thing is that X10s are selling at very good price... morefunny opinion from person who barely knows how to use android phone,there is multitouch on xperia x10,it can run 2.3 but very slow,and htc has some defect units from desire and desire hd,but no near to defect x10,they are so many.Desire itself runing 2.3 very well thanks to the more ram memory and well optimised firmware

i see few funny comments about my opinion,now i put the facts on the table:my english is not goot at all,my opinion is profesional,i work in phone shop in Bulgaria and every second xperia comes back for some kind of repair-in most cases hardware,i have time to explore and use most phones on the market available in my country,most sony and sony ericsson xperia's has many problems:overheating-x10,arc,arc s,xperia u- first partide,xperia s-some units,xperia t-first partide,mainboard replacing-x10,arc,neo,live with walkman,xperia s,touchscreen problems-x10,xperia mini st 15,neo 5,wifi problem-all arc and arc s has poor wifi reception and cant conect with many wifi routers,sony cant fix that problem because it is hardware(cheap wifi component and bad builded wifi antenna),cracking plastic-all arc and arc s units with no exception,,,died'' after OTA update-most neo and neo 5 units,there is more problems with sony and sony ericsson phones but theese are more important,im not some crazy iphone or samsung fan,but their products is made from high quality materials and hardware components and has very small number of problems most bugs in firmware,sony(ericsson) lies its customers for almost everything

Must say, this is definitely Sony's year, I hope they keep on this roll.
Sure, they may not have THE best specs according to all the new 600 and 800 chip fanboys, but the Xperia Z line is easily the classiest

just realised that if you lose some, then on the other hand you gain some! the ZL has an extra-edge over its sibling Z.. . have a closer look at the display section of both the phones..... the IP67 certification has limited its screen capabilities somehow!

Now where are the HTCs from 2009 that launched with your incredible Eclair? Yeah, you can still buy one of those also, just look them up under the "defective phones" category.
Arc S is not good for you? Its the highest price singlecore in the second hand market, a classic. Obviously its good for other people. So it must be just your problem.
Did you do any breathing exercizes while you wrote that? Im afraid you suffer from oxygen starvation. Blurred speech maybe?

cyber, 25 Feb 2013what a shame,sony's latest phone and tablet runing on outd... moreHahahaha this guy is nuts i am a new sony user and yet to get hold of my xperia z which i will have thursday and it cant come any sooner i think the phone looks slick the hardware and software is great maybe not the best now but wat phone ever stays the top for long nowadays aslong as it works to a great standard and u are happy with the way it looks then keep it if u dont find somethin else and if u can afford to change ur phone everytime somethin quicker or clearer or stronger comes out then buy it but most people cant afford to do this so pick somethin and be happy with it this guy above is just very sad sony are extremely rich and doubt they really care about his oppinion woooo sony experia z it just needs to hurry up

Anonymous, 25 Feb 2013Good thing i didnt bought their 1st tabletthe tablet s is actually not bad, I have one I bought second hand and runs like a dream on ics. considering its 2 years old, which is old in tablet years the Sony tablet s is still a great little tablet! I love the remote and PS3 controller support!!!

what a shame,sony's latest phone and tablet runing on outdated hardware,display is bad at all-viewing angles are mediocre,colours is very innacurate,color shifting was someting normal up to 2006 for most manufacturers including sony ericsson,since the xperia x10 to xperia z sony ericsson (sony now) decide to make step back and use this kind of display very similar to that nokia is using in 6300.For example c905 has one of the greatest display in all aspects.I scratch my head why sony decide to abandone their li-pol batterys and use li-ion.Li-ion battery has no advantage over li-pol.And for the end,why they use most cheap paint and plastic for their midrange and high end models.Cheap plastic-z600,k700,w610,k550,s500,w580,w850,t650,w910,k850,c902,c905,yari,aino,u5 vivaz,u8 vivaz pro,x1,x2,x10,arb-arc s ,neo,neo 5,xperia play,xperia s,xperia u,xperia t.Cheap paint:t68i,z600,z800,k610,k618,k810,w610,k550,k770-very bad,t650,k850,w890,w910,c902-very bad,u5 vivaz,satio,x1,x10,arc,arc s,xperia s.Android os is always step back,their x10 has started with 1.6 when the competition was runing on 2.1 and 2.2.Not to mention multitouch s**t bussines.Then was arc,arc s-bad,bad,bad...high price,breakable plastic,very bad camera performance,cpu and gpu outdated,battery barely hold half day,poor wi fi range,overheating problems with every unit,ICS IS A NIGHTMIROR,has a tons of bug and sony will never fix it.R.I.P sony,i hope this year you will fail again,and you will be out of mobile phones market forever.
