I don't see why people keep on bothering on Benchmarks, comparasively, yes the S4 is 20% faster, but day to day activity it would be useless, an milisecond of a slight delay wouldn't be considered an real achievement, what I would actually say is, the Xperia Z LCD is fine, and some people prefer the Amoled display of the S4, which is more vibrant, it depends on the person, and overall still the S4, gets 9 points, and the Sony at 8, doesn't mean Sony is bad! it is as good as the S4, minus the small comparisons.

Xperia Z is actually a fail. Crappy screen, crappy loudspeaker, crappy battery life etc.. It's only advantage is waterproof, which is convenient, but not everybody needs it. My phone is not waterproof, but i never had problems with it during rain, for example.
Sammy definitely wins here, it's screen is far superior, however, build quality sucks.
Only one phone left.. htc one.

Results won't change the fact that i personally prefer sony xperia z, and i go for sony always, and i love sony product, not just smartphones, but Sony electronics.. so it's always the best for me, what so ever other manufacturer bring to the market!!!! also i love my xperia s, and im so satisfied with it.
***cursing or being disrespectful over a comment means you're so retard and uncivilized,. so, you all gotta remember, it's just a comments and a personal choice that won't change the revenues of both companies, because with/without our comments, they gains millions of dollars from their sales.

The author even suggested that FHD super AMOLED already on par with IPS in producing true to life color. Plus brightness is better than the Galaxy Note 2 and the S3 so leaves little to complain about.

Its like this when you see the phone holding the other people. It really hard to determine if it is using s3 or s4 unless you are experienced with it. I really wish they change design tat you can determine not just only the size. Uhmm... About the software optimization even my friend from its s3 says its laggy. But the case of fluidity in s4 and xperia z i doubt that it will not give its gap due to 2 gb ram. Anyway these two phone doubt will be a great phone. If you prefer design and durability xperia z is for you but if you like fast performance go with s4. As for the multimedia camera, music and youtube ill check actual used. Some years ago, i was a big Sony Ericsson fan. I was getting the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10i just because of it's design.
I did a huge mistake by not checking reviews of the Samsung Galaxy S phone before i went off to buy the XPERIA X10i.
Sure, the phone worked. But i wasn't really happy with the screen quality of the TFT screen.
I had the XPERIA X10i for one year and then sold it when the Samsung Galaxy S II was released.
I then bought the Galaxy S II phone.
And i will say it and i hope everyone else takes the note of it to, but after going to the Galaxy S II, i will never EVER go back to a crappy TFT screen ever again.
The viewing angles and the colors on TFT screen are simply horrible compared to Super AMOLED screens.
I don't care if the colors are a bit oversaturated when the colors and screen quality overall on Super AMOLED screens are this good.
Everything looks 10000000 times better on Super AMOLED screens than it does on a crappy TFT LCD screen.
Remember that the screen is where everything is happening and it's there you see everything that is happening on the phone.
And because of that, the screen needs to be good. I don't want to live with a phone that have a crappy screen that you have to look at in pain for over a year.

For me, the screen is more important than the CPU, GPU and internal storage as long the phone have microSD card slot.
If i'm gonna go for a phone with an LCD screen, it needs to have an IPS panel. PERIOD.
Therefor, HTC One is better than the Sony XPERIA Z here.
My first choice is ofc the Samsung Galaxy S IV. So i will go from a Samsung Galaxy Note to a Samsung Galaxy S IV. Should be fine as long as the screen is Super AMOLED and 5 inch or bigger.
Again, going from a TFT LCD screen over to a Super AMOLED and Super AMOLED Plus screen told me everything about how horrible TFT LCD screens are.

The Xperia Z does that and ticks all the boxes as does the HTC One, although it is harder to love as not too sure about blinkfeed! As for the S3 crack, it is a well known fault especially with the blue (Samsung recalled all and delayed the official release). Google it and I am sure you will it.

Many many many Sony, HTC, LG, Nokia are and were plastic. Many not even the strong Polycarbonate. But Now one or two glass/aluminum phones and all of a sudden Samsung using high grade premium plastic is cheap...Stronger cpu/gpu/camera/software/features/plastic...blah.. All useless because they are on top. Instead of just accepting it and havin something useful its jealousy and hate.
