i am an old xperia owner and i've been using it for 2 years now...i need to upgrade it and i am confused if i would go for an s3 or wait for another 2 more months just to get an s4 and that is quite too long. i just wanna be convinced if waiting is worth it....please help me decide!!! thanks!!!!

I own galaxy s3 its workin perfectly nd never having any problem, I won't upgrade yet maybe when s5 arrives Yes!!

I will most definitely upgrade to galaxy s4. I own a galaxy s2 its been two years now and still kicking. No fm in s4 is a turn off though but the trade off is worth it.

advice, 12 Apr 2013i agree with u,they even might wait until the s5 is release... moreI beg to differ. The line is LONG on the waiting list for the S4.. On the radio, speaking only for myself, I have lifetime Sirius. So, if the radio was a problem for me, which it wasn't, I would go there.
I was getting ready to buy the S3 upgrading from an older phone. But, after reading the reviews, from all places. I am patiently waiting for the S4..

But I fail to understand ... morefm radio is actually old news. do you really need it.? you can listen to fm radio on your car, on your clock at home, on your computer, thru an app downloaded on the market, yet you still want an fm radio in your phone... why.? i prefer spotify, pandora, slacker, soundcloud, etc (digital media) before listening to the radio, which they just burn out and play the same song 100 times in one hour. hell, i dont even listen to fm radio on my car, or, anywhere. i usually have my ipod connected or sirius xm... update yourself. you still in that vhs era, we in blurays now lol.
btw, read the last post on the blog, where samsung states the reason why they chose not to add it. exactly what i just told you, because hardly nobody uses it anymore.

on the galaxy S1 you can check email, surf the web, take picture too, and it cost less than 200 bucks.
plenty of nice phone of 2010/2011 for 120$ or so, they all run great,...
this is ridiculous at the end, guys give me some of your money.kids are dying of hunger, are you not ashamed?

Excellent design & device.
But I fail to understand what was the idea behind the omission of the FM Radio on this model! Something that people cannot do without these days and is available on "almost all" mobile phones these days! Samsung has failed in this!
Personally for me, I wouldn't want to invest on a device (in India) which costs a whopping 40k (or more) and doesn't even offer FM Radio. What's the point of having all innovative & rare features and leaving out something elementary? Any justifications Samsung?!?!

The S4 looks like a fantastic device, but not so much better than my S3 to justify all the money I would have to shell out to get it. The 2600 mAh battery is a non factor since I have a 4500 mAh extended battery on my S3. A lot of the software features on the S4 will make their way to the S3 down the road. Also, at least for now, the S3 has a lot more accessories available to it. Both are great devices.

I have SGS2 and its running Jelly Bean officially.. nice screen bla bla.. If I want an uPgrade Ill just get an SGS3.. I can get it from KOGAN.COM.AU for like $400 bucks brand new. SGS IV is like double price for not much more features.. by the time apps are made for 1080p the SGSV will be out.. then I am happy to pay that much but not now.. not worth it yet.. and for what ? Eye scroll!?! LMAO!!!

I'm the S3 owner and I still think it is the best, maybe S5 or note 3 will change my mind but for now "S3 is the best"

I wonder at what conditions you guys have been testing iPhone's web browsing to measure battery performance to get nearly 10 hours of work - I can'g get to 5 hours even, with reduced nrightness...if S4 works half the time ofiPhone, so it'snot even couple of hours then..??

I´m a proud S3 owner but I won´t upgrade to the S4, at least not yet. My contract expires next March so for that time I'd be looking for the Note III or the S5.

At least for me - yes. I want FM-Radio, so will not buy SIV. Don't know, buy S3 or Note2 or even wait for Note III.
