Many people comment that this phone will not sell or is awful or too big or too plasticky and others.. guess what, that's what you said when they released the S3 then the S4! and guess what, both are selling like hotcakes! then there's also the bestselling Note then Note 2.. and guess what, Note 3 will also sell like hotcakes!
if this phone is not for you, then shut up! there will be people buying this phone. just because you do not like this phone, you think it will apply to all.. grow up a little.

Actually, these phones exist as a reaction to the chinese phone producers.
If you check sites like dhgate and so on, you can find tons of phones manufactured around 5.5 - 6.3 screen size. And mind you, they all exist before Samsung even announced their phone.
In fact, I own one and it's a good handheld game machine for my youngest one, replacing nintendos, sonys.

The bad news is the battery size. The good news is, it is removable. You can just buy a second one if you're a heavy user.

since when was 200 grams "fairly light" for a Smartphone? this "thing" is neither a phone nor a tablet. How Stupid will you look when you pull this thing out of your pocket infront of a sane human being

I like this. If I didn't already own a nexus 7 I'd consider this as a tablet-phone replacement as I don't make many calls

The CPU and GPU aren't bad at all, and it's alot more energy efficient, since it's a dualcore. HD screen, 8MP cam, 8mm thickness + almost all the goodies of the S4 and the latest Android on board? This mini tablet (I believe it's no longer a phablet) is more of a semi-premium device than a mid-ranger. If it's priced as a mid-ranger, it's gonna be another hit by Sammy, another BIG hit. A tablet, with the portability and features of a phone.

This is suck!
Why not Exynos 5250 Dual A15 + Mali604T!
I was planning to buy this device now I'm NOT, i hate weak CPU/GPU.

Looks good to me. If it's too big for you, don't buy it, but don't rain on everyone else's parade.
A tablet that I can fit in my pocket? I want one.

I would guess that the always important battery life is worse than on the Note II.

everything is fine only the processors n graphics are letting it down... hope the phone does not hang/lag due to low processing power for such a huge device... earlier rumor of having exynos 5250 chip wid mali t604 gpu was great news... if that was its fate i surely have bought thz but now i have to consider its price... if it z near old galaxy note price range then its perfect otherwise no good for me...

I dont care what others say, Samsung Amoled screen looks really ugly. What I dont understand is why some ppl find it beautiful.

Seriously, Samsung should concentrate on new design themes, instead of using the same plastic design in every phone that looks identical save it for the screen size. There is a limit to everything, and Samsung has gone too far with their smartphones. I wonder how people buy these phones.
