What a bad Image Quality this has!
Sammy should have taken the good S4 sensor and combined it with optical stabilization and zoom, perhaps only 4 or 5 times zoom. 10 times is an absolute overkill.

I can't understand: the photo quality IS the target of this toy, and it can't catch up the S4 quality?

I find it strange that the normal S4 has an amazing camera quality with beautiful colors and great sharpness while this S4 Zoom has a worse image quality than my S1. I am quite sure that this is not a finalized software, it can't be, why would they release a device with that camera with an ugly image quality? Also, I wish they chose the Adreno 320 instead of mali 400 GPU, bad choice for an S4 variant! Speed is fine (though I wish it was 1.7 per core) and RAM is great, I hope Samsung fixes the camera quality before release date or they will embarrass their name. Waiting for final review for the final product from GSMArena and other sources.

These disadvantages fits perfectly here. Didn't get it why they are not involved here.

Where are the disadvantage of these device? Like in the preview of other brands? Now im thinking does samsung paid for this site? There is a lot of disadvantage that u can mention on these device, common gsmarena this is pure biased! Now im starting to hate samsung products for their ugly gimmicks!

I don't get it. Why this is called Galaxy >S4< Zoom? This device has nothing to do with the S4, the screen is smaller and worse, the camera is different, the device is very thick, the chipset is weaker... This device has NOTHING to do with the Galaxy S4. The name is just there for marketing, I just hope it back-fire and harm the Galaxy S4 name.

this thing looks kinda ugly for a phone, but it looks great as a secondary camera, as it is smaller and thinner than some point and shoot camera. Adding the functionality for texting and calling is just an added feature, which i dont mind at all.

This pretty much tells the story of how much in a hurry Samsung was to release a Phone that would compete Nokia Lumia EOS Pure View, even before it was released. However the end result is horrible. I don't see anyone buying this. Its heavy, bulky and ugly and would be expensive as well. On the other hand Nokia's solution appears to be not too bad, but that too isn't much of a looker.

ohh. i just noticed this too.
The S4 zoom flash fills the scene more uniformly than the 808 PureView flash.
yes the Flash is better, but look at the picture quality. even though S4 Zoom have 2x the pixels, you can't see the fabric in the background, it's just a mess. but in the 808 picture, you can even make out the fabric's texture. even though it's half the Mpx.
this might just be jpeg artifacts, but i does give reason to believe the 808 capture more detail with oversampling.
