Hi,friends.Undoubedtly this google made tablet is the flagship and crown in the asus devices that has bought the fame and reputation for the poor asus devices!I think with its perfect qualities and specifications at least for two years,it remains among the top seven inches tablet in the world!I would have been flawless and perfect,if google had considered the memory slot in it for many of the nexus likes!I have to add that beside this precious masterpiece and fonepad note 6,buying other supportless serviceless careless after sales ASUS devices is merely a complete loss and failure for buyers and the absolute advantages for the asus, subsidaries, medias, and dealers!!Ofcourse those whom still have doubts about the facts and blindfoldedly unknowingly support the asus, they can buy and feel the pains and complains of the majority whom lost their money in the wrong selections and trust in asus! It,s my moral duty to disclose the facts though I,m not allowed to go further and farther now!Good luck and thanks to all+gsm

Japan lives in another world, I was there last month, they have the Sharp Aquos Pad sh-08E, 7 inch 1920X1200, IGZO screen that is 80-90% more energy savings, equal to the nexus processor but with 1.7GHz, 64GB internal , SD slot, 4G network, telephone, digital tv, need to say more? But unfortunately all this is only for sale in Japan, this country is wonderful!

Mary Poopins, 11 Aug 2013Well I have the new Nexus and here's my thoughts. Screen... moreI have the same problem with the screen! Not a big deal since i can just hold it but it should still be 100% functional even when laying flat.

Thank you, GSMArena. I asked you to check for USB OTG capabilities and you have. This finally solves the "non expandable memory" issues. This is a must have tablet for me once it comes out in Europe.
Thanks again, guys :)

hey guys, pls read on...awesome review as usual, just wanted to say that i"m addicted to this website i.e. check it out, literally twice every hour, any ways i wanted to make a suggestion that could be quite useful to us avid readers...the idea is for you guys to add a suggested apps section on each device you review for e.g. you'll said that real racing was amazing on the nexus 7 2(or whatever) but we want more games than that for our beautiful screen......and who better than highly aknowledged geeks like you'll
a reply would be amazing but as long as you'll read
this i'll be happy

Mary Poopins, 11 Aug 2013Well I have the new Nexus and here's my thoughts.
Screen... moreDude can you tell me please is there an option to copy from PC FullHD movie to Nexus, that weights more than 4.3gb?
As for the review, I really like battery power. Internet is the most important stuff in here and battery is better in this aspect, compare to Old Nexus 7.
New Nexus 7 : Video 7H Internet 9H
Nexus 7 (2012) : Video 9H Internet 6H

Well I have the new Nexus and here's my thoughts.
Screen = incredible and I don't need to say any more.
The new form factor feels really good. It somehow makes the old Nexus feel really old hat :/
The speakers are a million times better that the old model. I can actually HEAR stuff now.
The stock android experience on this hardware really is buttery smooth. I don't see how anyone could ask for more.
Now the negative....
There are several threads going on XDA and Google forums about a couple of issues. One is that GPS looses lock (my device is fine thankfully) and secondly the screen is acting erratically for some people. And unfortunately mine also has this problem.
When resting the tablet on a surface, I'm only registering about 90% of touches. But when HOLDING the device it's registering 100%. Weird I know !! But some people have said this is a grounding issue, who knows, but I hope a software update can fix this.
Anyway, I hope this was helpful :)
