Hey i want to update my moto xt 1060 kitkat version to lollipop..i m in a doubt whether it would work better or not after update..as somebody told me that it misbehaves after u update it..so anyone plz who hv updated it bfr guide me...

Just receive the Most awaited Android L on my moto x Ist gen mobile phone... Things are damn good much smoother, battery improved a bit, not much. Animation are decent only problem is the phone function extra half a second to launch and when you select number to call this weird animation delay it half a second more.. other than that everything is smooth, buttery and enjoyable well I love my moto and hate myself not buying 32gb version but kewl love the OTG Function tons of space on google drive, one drive, dropbox and mega ease the storage constraint.
Overall its a joyfull handy device and love it sooo sosoo much... :)

I am using moto x 2nd gen from 4 months it is good phone but not very good as compared to price of phone. Beacause the features in phone are very commen not any special feature is build specially inside the phone.
Friends One bad thing I want to tell you about this phone is...the screen i.e. outer glass of phone is very weak. My small sister dripped my phone from three feet only. And glass of phone is damaged. Company mention that the glass is gorilla. But it is very cheap quality glass given by Motorola. Motorola Service center asking 15000 ₹ for replacement of glass. But I got glass on Amazon.com for only 400 ₹
So please dont waste your money and time by buying this phone. Because I done...

As this is my first smartphone, I thought that the kinks would have been worked out by this decade. However, the Moto X phone does not live up to my expectations. The ergonomic design is lacking and the bugs should have been worked out before putting it on the market for sale.
First, Motorola advertises a wide screen from edge to edge, yet the problem with that is that just by holding it in my hand, my fingers end up touching the screen, which is highly sensitive, and suddenly I'll find myself on a new site or page. At a minimum this interrupts the task I've been working on, and at worst I lose significant portions of work. They need a wider edge surrounding the screen so that people can hold the phone without touching the links on the screen.
Secondly, the phone has this annoying quirk where the screen will sometimes suddenly go blank during a phone call. Then I can't push any numbers to get switched to a different department, I can't put it on speaker phone, I can't put it on mute, & I can't get into my phone to check some information that I need for the call. Apparently there is no fix and when this happens it makes me look highly unprofessional and/or incompetent, which I am neither.
The other problem is that when I hold the phone up to my ear, the screen is so sensitive that my chin or cheek or some part of my face will end up touching the screen. This has interrupted phone calls, disconnected phone calls, or taken me to some other link.
In conclusion, if this phone didn't cost me so much I would replace it.

Anyone please tell me when are we getting lollipop upgrade. Its almost 1.5 month now since Motorola said we will b getting lollipop update. I guess Motorola is not bothered about first generation phones anymore. Very sad

No option of voice recording. I Dnt understand y moto is not providing such a small feature of voice recording. Add this in main disadvantages. Not happy.

Hi. I'm waiting for the reply regarding the gallery issue. Late in the night when I clicked on d gallery it opened & I thought OK the problem is sorted out But now I'm facing the same issue whenever I go to the gallery to open it one msg appears "no external storage available". Pls tel some permanent solution. Phone memory is still 7,3 GB free. Request you to provide the answer as early as possible.

Hi. I am using the phone from last 20 days but today i am facing the problem with the gallery which i am not able to open. Whenever I click on gallery it says no expandable storage available. Pls tell me the solution. If data need to be transfer to some other device how to go avt it.but another thing my phone memory is still 7.3 GB
