          AnonD-152638, 14 Oct 2013Actually, if I ask around, taking pictures indoor is a much... moreYou say that some people don't even try to take pictures indoors with their mobile as they know there is no point yet you say most pictures are taken indoors. You are contradicting yourself. Mobile phone cameras are in fact used more often for outdoor photography as indoor low light photos aren't good enough. Also read the 1st line of page 5 of this review where GSMArena also thinks 'Most photos are taken during the day...'

          You also say that most low light performers performs pretty good, or very good in highly lit situations and that's why it is wiser to go for the better low light performer. By your logic, if I wanted the best Android camera, it would be better to go for HTC One since it's the best android for low light, no flash. But overall, HTC One was dead last...so your thinking is flawed.

          Finally I just want to say if you think low light should be given more weight, that is fine. Different people have different preferences and that is ok. But my point of ranking the devices was just to show that indeed lumia 1020 deserves 1st and Note 3 deserves 2nd.

            Why do you guys compare 1020 to clearly inferior camera phones ? Compare it with something worthy of comparison. Like 808, which acctually has a better camera

              Just like old times. Samsung fans always got angry when there are phones/phablets/tablets/gadgets better than Samsung. Why why why ????? Hahahahaha

              Android = Good
              iOS = Good
              WP = Good

              Samsung Good, Nokia Good, Apple Good, Sony Good, LG Good, HTC Good. So don't be angry, EVERYTHING IS GOOD.

              Peace All.....

However some of those indoor pictures that people tried taking with mobile cameras, but sometimes the pictures are so bad that they can't be used. And some people dont even try to take pictures with their mobile, as they know from experience that there i no point. But amongst people I know, most moments they want to capture in their everyday life is indoor photos.

                      Even if you leave your phone in auto-mode so that the flash is fiered, if the object is too far away, it's till the no flash performance that counts.

                      The thing is, that most low light performers performs pretty good, or very good in highly lit situations. But the same is not true when the statement is reversed, so if you go for the low light performer, you will at least get ok photos in good light situations. If you go for the good light performer, you could very well end up without useable photos as soon as the light is not good enough.

                      So I would say low light performence is quite more important than good light performance in a grading system.

Taking pics outdoors is much more common than indoors and I think if you ask around, others will agree. 2ndly, just because the led flash of mobile phones isn't good enough and so I should give less weight to it is a pointless argument. Here again, I considered what most people do. They leave the flash settings to auto and more often than not, the flash will go on indoors. Very few people leave it off. For me, I've seen that I get pictures with more true color if flash is off. But it also has much more noise. I would rather have a little whiter pic with less noise. You are free to give your own weightings but the rankings of the 1st and 2nd is unlikely to change.

                                    -Depends. Are you wearing skinny jeans? If not then generally yes.

                                    -Have you ever saw S4zoom?
                                    it wont fit in jeans its that huge.
                                    And besides that even if S4zoom has better camera(which i doubt),than it will lose on every other "smarthphone" aspect against 1020!

                                    -Did you read my comment??????? No.
                                    If you are not wearing skinny jeans then generally it will fit. Not every pants. Even think larger phones have issues in skinny jeans.

                                    And did I mention which had a better camera or was a better phone? No.

                                    Are you a crazed fanboy? Probably
