ROG Phone 9 runs Geekbench ahead of launch
The ROG Phone 9 series launch is around the corner and we got an interesting new detail with a Geekbench ML test run showcasing the device’s new Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset in action.
We’re not quite sure whether this is the ROG Phone 9 or the Pro variant but the device managed an impressive score of 1,812 points in the TensorFlow Lite CPU Interference test. This a measure of how efficiently the device manages neural network models. The listing also confirms the device was equipped with 24GB RAM and that it boots Android 15.
Based on rumors, the ROG Phone 9 series is expected to launch with LTPO OLED screens featuring a 185Hz refresh rate. Both phones will come with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. You can check out some leaked renders with the updated design and its AeroActive Cooler X accessory.
