after using it some more : the battery life is fairly poor, even for the bigger battery... but as to it being quiet, it seems very loud to me. especially the ringtone. and when using to talk to people it seems very clear / crisp sound, and i can hear them well, and haven't had any problems with them hearing me. it's much better than my motorola timeport 280. although the fact that it can't vibrate and ring at the same time IS really naff, as people often hang up before it starts ringing! so i've had to just set it to ringtone only...

dissapointed from day 1 with my Samsung A300.
People complain they can't hear me and when they can I'm very quiet, when actually I am nearly shouting down the damn thing. The volume of the ring tone is very poor. I also find that the A300 is totaly not user freindly. The inability of the retailer, Orange and Samsung to help adds to the fustration of being stuck with a crap phone!

some more information : if you don't like the fact that it's got an areal , you can always buy a much smaller one from places like ebay :)

Yeah Hi! Me AGAIN! After using the phone some more, it's very cool. Some things to bear in mind though, are that you have to flip it open in the morning when the alarm goes off, whereas with non-flip phones you don't have to. But another good thing about the phone is that it has 2 batteries, so even if one runs out you can always switch to the other one :) A lot of my friends have been very impressed by the look of the phone! :)

ok na sana pero 100 lang yung phone memory- translation: the phone is good but unfortunately it only has 100 phone memory... can i upgrade it to have many memory??

i got the phone yesturday, so far so good. looks really nice. REALLY small. blue screen is very cool. pity the inside isn't blue as well. if you don't like it, why not actually say WHY you don't like it rather than just putting "it sucks!". also, with the size of the phone / battery, why do you expect long stand by time, its the same with other small phones! peace.

this phone is very sturdy - built like a brick but less brick size - such a good spring loaded front and no wobbly parts when in your hand like other cheap phones.
drag part is txt msg box fills up and didnt self delete old msgs so had to delete one by one manualy.. crap battery life is also bummer but on positive side the power in reception is the best i used yet.. got clear reception for conversation in cellers and lecture theatres (no windows etc) with no problems at all
good phone if you ask me but design didnt appeal to me.. better than a lot of others though!!!
also funny is everyone has this phone where i live so when you hear the little beep for text - everyone checks!!!

ive always has nokias n im sick ov em, i just got this phone n it rocks, great looks n style...when using the bigger battery the life is good, n i had no problem finiding rintones... which r mainly english hits, what can i say..so far so good !! n those beist people 2 phone companies make me laugh..they aint gona reward u for dissin other phones..its alomost as bad as the gaming world
