I ordered this phone for free through letstalk.com (with 2-year contract agreement with AT&T); but after a 2 days of use I decided to return it and keep my old phone. It was just too big, too fat, too heavy. Also, 3h talk time battery is just ridiculous. If you're looking for a phone with same features, just get Samsung Eternity - it has all the same feat, the only difference is that Impression has sliding keyboard, which makes the phone heavier and bulkier.

Eternity and Impression don't have Wi-Fi capability, That is not SAMSUNG'S FAULT!! AT&T forced Samsung to remove those feature because so that customer needs to buy the DATA plan eventually; unlike other carriers, AT&T's DATA plan is not a mandatory but since those phones are not Wi-Fi capable, in order to use internet appl. we have to sign up for the DATA plan at some point.
Because of AT&T does not force customer to have the DATA plan, most of low income customers make a contract with AT&T but since the phones are not wi-fi capable, we sign up for the DATA plan eventually and it's disadvantage for us because we can't buy Wi-Fi....

Currently i played with the phone first hand it is a very nice phone, but everyone has it opinions honestly it not with the pricing i think it just a tab bit two much especially that its' not wi-fi which it goes for 249.99 with a 50.00 mir i think i should of went for 199.99, if the phone don't have spec like the iphone are bring anything to the table that worth more then the iphone (and wi-fi not helping) then it shouldn't be more then a iphone.

fardin, 05 Apr 2009What windows or symbian ? Good Design , but ... Windows ... moreDecent but will wait for the Omnia HD, Samsung's first Symbian phone. Samsung's OS is okay but lacks maturity and features that are in the Symbian OS. Even though many apps. don't work well with Symbian v5, given their history, I'm pretty sure the web will be soon full of stuff for the new Symbian. I know it is in a different price category, if I wanted to spend 199-250 on a phone, I would gladly put in an extra 100 and go with the the Nokia x5800, which would soon be a beast as Symbian v5 matures towards the launch of N97.

Resident Evil 5, 05 Apr 2009why are you blaming Samsung for no wifi? Its att's fault. t... moreResident evil... your not to smart...
AT&T would love to have wifi on all thier phones. I know because I own a couple of AT&T stores. They have been fighting to put wifi on all their phones for a long time. They actually make more money if a phone has wifi... reason bieng:
If a person has wifi on the phone they only can get a wifi signal is a few places. This means that whenever they are not in a wifi hotspot they get charged an arm and a leg to use the internet. They make SO MUCH more money that way. Since people are rarely in wifi hotspot. It is a penny per kilobyte when using the the net without a plan. AT&T hopes you just put on wifi and are forced to to pay per use outside the hotspots. When a person puts a unlimited net plan on their account AT&T only get that suscribed price for that feature....there is no overcharge. They would rather have you go over and pay hundreds than have the plan and pay $30...
Get it together and know what you are talking about next time... you make yourself look a little dumb. Dont insist that yuou know everything...when you dont by a long shot.

why are you blaming Samsung for no wifi? Its att's fault. they tell samsung to not have so people will be forced to use their internet package. they want them to use edge or gprs and use their own network. its not samsungs fault entirely. i also blame the carrier's too.
