Samsung is (by Far) the most innovative manufacturer of wireless phones since May of 1986 & this one is a great accomplishment as well

I used to go with siemens because of the clarity of the voice....this was looong ago...them I made the switch to a Samsung phone. I've been loyal since. I've bought some phones for my friends as well...this was in 2003...all of the phones are still in use and working fine...never ever had any problems. Even have survived falls from the roof of a house. I trust Samsung enough to even by a phone without guarantie (and I don't normally call myself an optimist).
I run 2 businesses and am in the need of large LCD TVs, I bought about 7 of Samsung. Honest, I am quite happy to have made the right decisions. Service was perfect, too.
I am a realatist and always research and compare new toys. I know what I need and until now, I've received it all buying Samsung. I am excited about the Armani phone and will buy it when it comes on the market.

The phone is out in January in the UK. I think it's only available in Italy at the moment.

Quite bad. Why new samsung phones cannot record video as good as the old ones D600, E700, E770..etc.

If you want a good camera and video you can't beat the viewty, the mp3 player is pretty good on it as well. However it is twice the size of the Armani. Personally I like small phones, I mainly text and call so the Armani is the perfect phone for me. I used to have the P300 which is pretty much the same size as the Armani.

Stop having a go at samsung, there phones are normally fine to use, if a bit repetetive. I need a phone with a good camera and good video recording and preferably a proper mp3 player in the UK for free on a £30-40 a month contract. Can wait a few months, but should i get this, the viewty (lg Ku990) or something else
BTW. Would prefer touch screen

I work for a uk network and we just had our 2008 Q1 product 'fair' with the main manufacturers all showing us their phones. This was far and away the best phone i have ever seen.. it's looks are awesome. jaw droppingly so. it's TINY, the touchscreen is utter quality with a glass like feel, no spongy give like the LG Viewty. in fact, this phone is like the LG/Prada after having been on a complete rebuild - this is no brick, it's beautiful and the haptics keypad is perfectly fresponsive for fast accurate texting - i loved this phone!!! someone behind me was playing on the 8gb nokia N95 and i just couldnt be bothered. 2008 really looks set to herald the end of the brick phone!! if you dont fancy spending the £££'s on an iphone, get this instead.

To add to the last post, for the people that say it's a 'cheap' copy of the LG!! Where do you get your information from, Samsung have always had better reliability and better build quality than LG! And if your saying it's a copy as it's touchscreen, that just silly! Does that mean that every new phone that come out with keys is just a 'cheap' copy of the last phone that came out!!?

Don't know how anyone can say this is a copy of the Prada, I own a Prada and the Samsung is much higher spec. And if anyone says get the Prada, they don't keep up with current events, as the LG KS20 is available shortly which is in the same case as the Prada, but much higher specs that the Prada & Samsung.
I'm currently torn between the Samsung and the KS20 as my next phone.
