Does Samsung... moreyes it has GsM and CDMA capability if you purchase a verizon samsung ativ and use it in India it will work with CDMA and GSM both, it is single sim but both CDMA and GSM can be use in same slot. Presently im on TATA indicom on Ativ Odyssey I930.

Focus 360 , 29 Mar 2013I love samsung 1st generation Windows Phones, it is better ... moreSAMSUNG windows phones are just not that good as those LUMIAS.Maybe SAMSUNG are experts in making android phones with their GALAXY range but i dont think they are experts with windows phone. SAMSUNG ATIV ODYSSEY should be challenging LUMIA 820/822 but LUMIA 720 is enough for it.
DISADVANTAGES OF SAMSUNG WINDOWS PHONES:
1. No amber update
2. No support from samsung (e.g NOKIA is making fifa 13 for the LUMIAS)
3. Why choose SAMSUNG windows phones instead of LUMIAS as those latter are worldwide known and can impress your friends.
SO IF YOU WANT A WINDOWS PHONE, GO FOR NOKIA

Many people I know, I like this phone Samsung Ativ Odyssey I930 , like a disign, because bone not very large 4-inch enough. But the shortcomings of this are high, and requires a lot of improvement, Protection - Gorilla Glass 3, better battery, better GPU...

Windows 8 OS looks stronger after Android and IOS. In WP Samsung behind from Nokia & HTC. We can see in Samsung Ativ series only one high end phone launch yet.
No other low to mid and mid to high end international WPs coming in near future by Samsung. Today Nokia Lumia is popular in Windows phone!
