Hala Madrid, 10 Dec 2009guys can anyone tell me the actual screen resolution of the... more176x144 pixel display seems extremely unlikely.
The screen must be 220x176.

Interestringly, the official site (for India) http://in.samsungmobile.com/mobile-phones/samsung-corby-txt-specification
states the display to be LQCIF

QCIF is 176 × 144
LQCIF is not recognised even by wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Common_Intermediate_Format

But this is not good, are we in 1990s. It should have at least been QVGA.

Venkat, 04 Dec 2009Hi can anyone help me i cant connect my samsung corbi txt p... moreHi. From what you are telling, it is clear your computer is trying to read a device that has been identified as connected. So your phone seems find, it is doing everything to make the computer realise that it is connected. Its with the computer that cannot read it.
See if you can find the PC suite in 'Add or Remove Programs'.
Also try installing the software from there.
If you have access to another PC try installing and connecting your phone to that.
By this you'll be sure where exactly the problem lies...
Also the problem could be in the suite.
Try download another one from Samsung website.
If everything fails get professional help.
Problem with the phone can be taken care of by the warranty.
              Regards.

Com'on guys....wt the heck! This phone is not the high-end or techno-gadget. Its a low-budget phone, having some advance features.

It's for people who do not want to spend lot of money in expensive QWERTY cellphone. So pls do not compare it with high-end cellphones.

At Rs. 8,000 it is thecheapest BlackBerry style phone in the market. Probably this Corby makes the most sense. Rest all looks like they are for people who are exactly 19 years of age.
But one problem, the screen could be bigger at the same price, around 2.8 or 2.6 inches.
