"Beauty without Brain" this is what i would like to call Samsung BT 3310. i bought this phone about a month before. and i had a great expectation that i'm going to place my hands on the best phone available in the market. sadly, it wasn't. To review it let me start with its good features. it has a great camera, a neat screen, the best that i have ever seen. experience after using more than 20 fones, i was an phone addict. :). and a good music player although the phone's headfone isn't that good. but listening thru the speaker its good. now for the ugly part of it.it doesn't support java files of more than 300kb. i tried installing the gmail application. till today it hasn't so was it with opera mini 5.0. even if you use anyother application don't expect the screen to change to landscape mode, when you release the hidden QWERTY keypad. another glitch is when you try to message a lengthy SMS you can expect the phone to show "error sending the message" a couple of times before it actually sends the message. also, it lacks one of the best features that i have found in SE and Nokia phones. in SE and Nokia, the message sending goes background therby enabling you to use other functions of the phone. but in almost all samsung phones. this doesn't happens. if you are sending a group message. you have to wait till phones finishes sending the message to the last recipent on the list. and if you recieve a call in between, say 'tata' to all your messages. about the fring messenger that comes preinstalled. it only takes buddies from your gmail or gtalk. and not from FB or anyother sites. Add to this, don't expect to view the photos on the memory card while you are listening to the music. when you navigate to the memory card this message comes "stop the music player". another thing that can irritate you is that you can't view you photos continously on memory card. this is only possible in phone memory. next, the Samsung says that it has SNS sites. which is like samsung fooling its customers. this SNS are just links on the fone and not application. so how does it help? it saves you from typing the address on the browser!!!the net speed is quite okay. and if you are the kind that removes SIM often and if you have stored numbers on speed dial. don't expect the same numbers to be there when you put the new one. even though the numbers were stored on phone memory. so you have to keep on resetting the phone everytime you remove a card or sim. and the worstest part of this phone is that it doesn't have a good reception. you have to carry a tower to call if you are in some village or where there is low-range!!! Final verdict:if you are someone who texts all night thru with some listening to music. then corby is the best fone for you with decent battery backup. but if you are some one who likes installing applications, speed and checking out new things this fone is a strict No No. i bought this fone for Rs4800/- from kerala, india.

nur, 22 May 2010does it has mp3!!!!!!!!!!!!!please replyHey dude as this mobile support mp4 format so mp3 will also playbale with this one. Top brand like Nokia, Samsung or SE now dont mentioned the support for mp3 file if they already announced the support for mp4.
Just in case if you find any phone which supports mp4 but not mp3, dont panic and download iTunes in your PC and convert all your mp3 or wma file into AAC/M4A/MP4 format within a few minutes...:-)

that and it doesnt set the time and the calendar too
wish i would have purchased another w580i it was so awesome it had a great battery life for days i never had to charge it every nite so ya
the buttons on the front after a yr came off but other than that i love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just got this phone a few days back the performance of the phone is awsome in full charge you cal listen to music for about 6-7 hrs..you can stream youtube videos on you mobile and the slide out qwerty keypad is also very user friendly to type only you need to get a little used to with it.the camera is one of the best features as it can click some very good quality pictures but in dark places its not good.comparing to the price one of the best phone you can go for it..

this is the phone that I have atm, and I believe samsung never made a pink B3310. The only colours they have are turquoise/blue green and grey.
