Problems with the phone:
1. Does not connect to the computer ie. The device is not recognized even though a USB cable is provided.
2. Does not have 3G
3. Does not have WiFi
4. Music player does not categorize songs on the basis of artist, album etc.
5. Videos do not play full screen
6. Installed applications do not rotate when the phone is slid open. Very inconvenient for opera, web browsers & games.
7. Touch screen doesn’t function for many of the applications installed
8. Call volume has a maximum of 7 & this is too soft in crowded places
9. Frequent call drops
10. Phone restarts when a new application is installed
11. No themes, got to get used to the two preinstalled themes
12. Menu items can not be rearranged
13. No new widgets can be installed
14. Installed applications can not be placed on the home screen as a shortcut /widgets
15. Composed emails can not be broken into paragraphs.
16. Internet bookmarks can not be rearranged
17. Touch screen keypad doesn’t have T9
18. Bulky phone. Cover makes it bulkier, but without cover it calls random people
19. Still haven’t managed to get messenger functioning
20. Filthy user interface
21. Keyboard keys have to be pressed with finger nails, not finger tips.

This phone rocks. I just bought it one day ago. Its very stylish and lavish. haha. White combined with pink color is very girlie. :)

I bought this phone a week ago..
My review is:
Pros:
*Very stylish phone with QWERTY keyboard at a cheaper rate.
*Stylish widget.
*Good Standby time.
Cons:
*Very poor locking system
*Whatever you do,you can't install games more than 3148 KB (total):'(
*There is no way of download/modify themes. You have to satisfy with built-in 2(two) themes. :'(
*Camera quality in night is very very poor
*You can store only 300 SMS. There is no way to store more without deleting :'(
*There is a widget of 'Birthday Reminder', But there is no way of setting up any birthday there :'(
*You can't Upgrade the firmware.

Can't we stream videos on this corby plus phone.. Every time I open Youtube, it shows content not supported......

big big disapointments
Max 300sms memory the samsung web site officialy tells u to delete old ones :)) then why make a sliding qwerty board if u dont expect ppl who sms a lot to use it ??? it's akward if not stupid
also u can't change Screen saver no Way there is no way u will be able to access the phone memory and that's the screen saver files are
there is no menu on screen saver at all
customization it is reallyyy crappy
And the last but not the least is the PC studio compatability with windows 7 it's not compatable but u can specify the installation file to run like in windows XP or Vista after which it will install but still not connceting with the phone
BIGGET dissapointment is the 300 sms max limit and it doesn't matter how big SD card u have it will be 300 sms and that's it any crappiest nokia can put sms on SD card so u can have them like 1000s which i use to do, use it as a reminder tool
but love the size, touch screen is far cry from iphone but it works somewhat, and sliding qwerty keypad is great also impressive battery time 5 days of average use after proper charging
OVERALL PRICE IS GOOD COZ IT'S CHEAP relative to functionality but these hidden ugly thing i wish i knew before i made the decision
will change to different phone with sliding keypad

A very good phone indeed. Have all the features i wantd. these are the features we use in symbian phones by adding extra apps.
I am happy that samsung already gave it.
good audio, music player, and preety nice camera.
nice performance.
good speed. no problem with sensitive touchscreen. no problem with locking and getting it unlock.
One drawback i really hate is that the phone can only be locked when its swtched off. it cant be locked when it is on. likw in nokia with password.
but over all i liked the phone. 9/9/9

I bought this phone a few months ago and while I am relatively happy with its features (it's the first modern phone I've had) I genuinely believe that the designers at Samsung never imagined that you might put it in your pocket.
The socket for the provided hands-free kit projects horizontally out of the side of the phone putting this weak point in danger of breaking when slipped into your pocket, and in addition this socket doubles as the charger socket so you really don't want to break it.
In addition, this phone becomes unlocked accidentally far too easily.
These too points are a terrible shame and let down an otherwise excellent phone.

Tasha, 28 Jun 2010I am looking to buy this phone but in many reviews it says ... moreyou sure can plug it to the PC. There is an option on the phone under Settings ---- > PC connections. Here you can select Mass storage. This will show the phone as a Drive when you connect to the PC...and allows you to transfer content.

when i got this phone i only got...
a charger, earphones and the phone it's self.
there was NO USB cable in the pack
