A few things about the phone: sound quality on the 3.5 mm jack is very good. It's a real pleasure listening to music on this phone. if you receive or make a call the music stops and then resumes automatically. The phone is not multitasking: you first have to end one application to open another (the only exception is the music player, which can stay on all the time). You can install java applications, but not all of them. In addition to that the size of any java application can not be larger than 500 KB or it will simply not install. You can use a 8GB memory card with no problems whatsoever. The transfer of files between the phone and the PC is also problem free. Depending on the memory card the transfer speed can be very good. The cable can be used not only for transfering files, but also to charge the phone. The internet speed is slow. But that is to be expected.
But there are a few problems. If you compose a very long message or e-mail and you are listening to music at the same time the phone becomes very sluggish. You have to reduce your typing speed because the phone cannot keep up. But the most annoying problem is the fact that the touchscreen freezes a lot. The only way to unfreeze it is to lock and then unlock the phone using the lock key. This procedure only takes about 5 seconds, but you have to do it every time the screen freezes, which is quite often. Does anyone else have the same problem? Is so, how often does the screen freeze?

pls peoeple dont buy corby plus coz
d phone is slow
it can run files more dan 500kb
it can support converted files( for eg if flv is converted into mp4 it will detect d file but it wont work)
people if ur budget is 8000-9000 plzzz go for nokia 5230 u see d phone it awesome...i hv made ma life's biggest by buying dis phone guyzz u dont buy it

this phone is really bad..... seriously never by it........ there is no cable to plug with PC and i am thinking that it is too NOT STRONG........... it just touched the handle of my bike and **** its screen broke into 2 pieces and i was like shit on the first week of my phone it was messed up

cud'nt wait to buy when i saw it. very disappointed after i did. looks good, works well, but a host of problems. iwas told it voice dialled, it does'nt. the touch screen is far to sensitive.. camera not up to samsung standards. many things in specifications are un-supported. no way of changing annoying txt tone. phone came hand-set only in box with charger, no disc to help figure why video/mp4, etc is not down- loadable. so there it is , good looker, but poor performer. first samsung to dis-please me.

it is really a funny fone....just doesn't support anything....cant download games or watch or download videos....i feel like looted....all dose who r thinking of buying this think again!!!!!!

i really d corby's looks..and its QWERTY keyboard is a plus..while star has a far superior camera..??
wat do u think..??
