I just got CorbyPro 2 days back and already started repenting :(. Basically I was a little low on budjet and initially CorbyPro seemed to be the perfect choice to me. Being a hardcore Nokia fan, i found this switch very uneasy.
          1. This model supports wifi, but only few modes of configuring wifi is supported. Wifi connects well at home, but there is no way to get this working at office.
          2. Samsung PC studio is far behind Nokia PC suite. eg. Syncing with outlook is quite cumbersome and only one way - From PC to mobile.
          3. Web-browser is mediocre. Only one website can be surfed at a time. Not good if you want to be logged into different sites at the same time.
          4. IM is only basic. Not good for chatting with multiple contacts.
          5. Landscape mode is enabled only when QWERTY keyboard is slide opened.

          Bottomline:
This fone is very good if you want to stay in touch through social networking sites, sending SMSs, listening to music, watching videos and other light activities.
However, this is not the right choice if you have to check mails on the go or if you want want to install some custom softwares. Better go for smartfones in such cases.

Has anyone used the Exchange Active Sync feature successfully?
I tried it against my corporate account as well as gmail and it doesn't seem to be working.

Tried it on a couple of Corby's. The same settings worked on E72, HTC and Samsung Omnia.

Wondering if it works at all on the Corby? :O

Hello fellows i want a phone with Qwerty keyboard and wifi and prefer a sliding keboard and 16M color display within 200Euro range. This phone just fits in n i love it but its missing the camera flash and as megapixels dont matter to me as flash, shouldnt i go for B3410Ch@t as i guess there r none other spec differences?

How about Nokia 5730Xpress Music(Because of its face keys it has a smaller screen but for quick texting it is a plus point so which is a better option, a larger screen or front keypad with Qwerty?)

                                Any other suggestions please?

Or should i wait for the Nokia C6 to be out?

If you are thinking of buying this .... think again !!

1 . Its is a java phone... being a java phone it has its limitations..... quite a lot.

                                  2. It has excellent wifi and 3g, which would give you high speed internet connectivity, well then once you have internet what would you want to do ?? Voice chat perhaps, using IM clients? but it doesnt support Vo-Ip...Why; because it is a jave phone...

                                  3. Now it has got GPS, wouldn't that be cool ? certainly, if you are content with online Google maps..and no navigation..because this is a java phone and you cannot install any decent navigation app...

Dont you think it would be just wonderful if your phone gives you turn by turn voice instructions, isn't that what GPS is all about ..... but corby cant do it, nokia 5800 does.

                                  4. Well then with this price what can one opt for ... .Try nokia 5800 XM .. it has everything and more in the same price tag, with the exception of that red qwerty key pad .... else wait for nokia X6

Unfortunately, with Nimbuzz the screen does not rotate and you can not get rid of the arrow and OK signs.

You can try using ebuddy. You should be able to find the touchscreen version of it and it should run without the arrow keys on screen. It supports many popular messengers.
The screen would remain vertical with this one too.
