strange... in my previous opinion, i typed a html program (below in notepad)
but it is showing "install spiderman.jar" only
sorry for the problem.

To transfer and play games(.jar) from ur pc to ur phone
U have to first install.
Since the phone can only install downloaded ones.
there is a simple method to do without downloading.
* Suppose you have the game "spiderman.jar" in the pc
open notepad and type the following
install spiderman.jar
(the name should be same as the name of the game file)
Save the text file as a Html file
for eg "abc.html"
*copy the html file and jar file together to a folder in the phone via USB cable from pc
disconnect the phone and in the phone
open the html file "abc.html"
click on the link "install spiderman.jar"
and it will install and voila!!
Game is installed and ready to play

I bought this phone a week back and it is a great fone for its price!
My Review...
*The Browsing net via gprs is great. since it supports flash and also can play youtube videos only from m.youtube.com, it displays websites fully.
*Secondary camera cant be used for taking pics but u can access it by typing *#0*#(u can only check or test it)
Of course u can use it for 3G calls
*WiFi is cool and good speed
*It has motion sensors(limited) just to rotate pictures and even play specific motion based java games.
* Disadvantage of camera is no flash, though camera is great especially outdoors in daylight
(I heard from other opinions there is no autofocus and images is bad due to shaky effect, if you check the features of camera settings closely "scene mode -> sports" u can take images clearly)
it doesnt have OS or windows mobile though it supports pdf and word files...
Qwerty Keyboard is good enough and touch screen is cool with nice three desktops and widgets(Drag and drop on desktop).
There is multitouch zoom and slide zoom(hold finger on screen and slide up or down) in pictures and also in browser which is cool.
Overall it is an average Phone loaded with many features but usability is quite ok.
Hope samsung makes many java applications and games for the phone which requires full use of qwerty keyboard

andi, 26 Mar 2010can you browse on this phone while talking to someone?Nope...browsing is limited durig a call...u can use the incall function and access ohinebook but nothing else...really annoying...
I'm loving the phone overall but here are some drawbacks of this phone...
*Can't access anything except phonebook during call
*Cannot send group message(There is a limit of 10...my basic fly phone(rs.2300) can send msgs to 125+ at a time)
*No flash for Camera(Although picture quality is not so bad)
*No autofocus.this is more annoying than having no flash
*Cannot copy/paste text which is a huge disadvantage.(I cant copy text from a mail I've received to send as SMS)
*Doesnot Support business cards(There is a vCard option but it's not universally compatible)
*No picture msgs
*Images are not being loaded in the dolphin browser especially facebook.(The browser is really good though)
*PDF size is limited to 10mb(it's okay i think)
*Cannot select b/w multiple entries of e-mail id from phonebook(the first one is automatically selected)
*In messages...only phonebook entry name is there at the end...the number is not displayed..it is really a trouble when people are having multiple numbers and not knowing from which number they've just send a msg

question can you browse this phone if u are talking to someone? bec in samsung star if ur talking to someone the phone is automatically locked and cant browse it until ur done talking

or you can can from another phone of urs to Ur phone and let it be missed then the phone will show 2 missed calls then go to logs and then all will be fine

Meaning to say, you can't copy to it's folder than install directly. this phone is a piece of junk. you have secondary cam which is useless. you have qwerty keyboard which does not works on any of the java softwares you download. moreover you can hardly find softwares for this piece of shit. camera works fine in daylight but suck at low light. touch is good. battery life is average and works fine until n unless you use wifi. using wifi its backup is only 3 hrs. i cant understand why these freaking people out here are saying its backup is 2 days!!!!!!! You can not change your music through headphones which is a great problem for me.
all in all looking at goods and bads, this fone simply sucks. i do not recommend nyone to get it!!!!

I have bought 1 myself. i love it!! got everything i need in a phone. Musics can be played all night long. consumes battery a lil bit too much when using ebuddy applications. battery bar goes down too fast than expected. but it will b fine if u go online on facebook. it does not takes up much battery life. i could read my files from MSword without formatting it to pdf file. Thats d cool part there. gaming experience is not so good at all. cant use the pads while playing n the application cant b turn over to the side. thats bad. too bad for me actually. meaning to say i HAVE TO quit playing games on phones. But overall.. I love it. Good for daily uses n fulfill most of my needs. Fine Quality product. Thank You for the Producer,Samsung.

Does the Corby Pro have a proximity sensor to auto-lock the screen, and if not, is that a problem?
