You have to be in a WiFi zone for using the WiFi.
Also you have to be in a non-secured network.
Once you are in the non secured network. turn on the wifi and search for netwrok adn connect.

There is no need to turn on the GPS, if you have a data plan running on your connection, you can directly open the GPS maps and the inbuilt GPS locator will give you ur position.
Mine works almost with a pin point accuracy most of the times.
SOmetimes within a range of 100 M.
This is purely my expereince, other may not agree.

I would recon you get the battery checked, with my heavy useage of surfing and browing and texting the battery last for just over two days.
If your battery drains of after two days with just 8-10 texts. please run it by the service center.

depends upon usage.
Using Wifi it lasts for 5 hrs max.
listening music it lasts 8 - 9 hrs max.

i tried the 5800 xpress music phone and typing a message is very bad.. i felt the keyboard of corby b5310 is very good for messaging. and anyone who does a moderate to heavy messaging i dnt recommend this 5800 nokia..if u want better music and 8 gb card go for nokia 5800 xpress music..
