Guys......if anyone can tell me which type of extension files for games and themes can i install on this Corby.
I hvnt been able to install the .jar files as suggested in some post here. You cant install a damn thing on this fone. Its irritating

my review for this phone.
1. qwerty keypad is good and easy to use.
2. camera is pretty decent.
3. music quality is good, though in loud speaker, its not too loud but in hear phones the quality pretty good. u can complain in music as this is not music edition phone, but still sound is great.
4. its very easy to connect to wifi.
5. games are trial versions, i personally dont play games. if u are game freak then this mobile not for u guys as its kinda uncomfortable to play games in this mobile.
6. havent tried 3g as my network doesnt support 3g.
overall this phone worth the money with many features.
CAN someone tell the apps name through which we can use VOIP?
can someone give names of site from where i can download themes, apps , ringtones and so on..
i know few of them like www.getjar.com www.zedge.net www.mobango.com

I brought this phone y'day. I have some questions:
1.How do I transfer all my Contacts and Calendar events, anniversaries from Nokia (Nokia 3230) to this phone?
2.Which application/games file extension does this phone support .JAR or .JAD and how to install the applications/games (step wise instruction would be much more helpful)? I tried transferring .JAR and .JAD files using USB cable in mass storage mode in Memory card as well as phone memory and install it through phone however the file format not supported error popped up…..
3.Does this phone support Customized themes?
4.Where I would get the applications/games/themes for this mobile.

Please Help!
1.Phone memory can only store 1300 messages and i have tons of messages. When i go to Memory settings -> Default Memory, All i see is WAP downloads, Bluetooth, Camera, VoiceRecorder, FM Radio. Is there a way to set message download to memory card?
2. When i install .jar games (bejeweled for example), the game resolution is bigger than the phone's screen so i cant see the whole game and cant even browse the game menu completely. Is there away to change the resolution of .jar games/apps to QVGA?
3. Lastly, Is possible to operate the gps without internet connection?

how to answer the call through handsfree, when i am wearing the handsfree, and the phone rings, am not able to pick up my call through the button available on handsfree, is there any setting for it.
please help me.

I don't know about you guys but I have this phone and I have no problem installing games and apps in this phone I don't even have to use wifi. I just download .jar apps and games on the pc and transfer them to my phone via the usb cable provided. I don't even have to use the kies program or a the studio. I just drag and drop the files on mass storage. It's that easy. I've installed a dictionary app an ibeer simulation app etc etc. one thing I have a problem with is that some of the games in .jar are not making use of the accelerometer I have to use the touch screen to play w/c is uncomfortable can't use the keypad also coz if i use it then i have to play the game sideways the game doesnt correspond or rotate when I'm playing the game.

This handset of samsung does not support third party softwares,this facility is available in most of nokia phones especially E63
