Is it really true that we can not instal jar. files in this phone and it does not have multi tasking?

hi everyone,,,i am using corby pro for the last 20 days,,,sound and picture quality wise ,,its an awsome phone to have at this price tag,,lookwise its better than any other phone in the market,,,and now the problems,,although it is designed for multi tasking but u will nt be satisfied with its multi tasking capabilities,,it does not support any 3rd party software ,,not even .jar files,,,more even it does not support higher resolution .3gp giles u have to synchronize it with the help of media player first to watch it on the phone,,,,it supports the samsung kies which does not have any option to use internet via phone,,it does not have any good video player,,battery performance is also lagging...Now if u can compromise with all these features it has multiple problems with the WIFI connectivity .it shows the WIFI networks but do not connect to them although an equivalent nokia 5800 Xpress music connects to the same network without having any problems....Take Care

Hello All.
I m using samsung corby from 10 days, and here is my observation. i think you shoud read this before buy..
First of all - Look wise corby pro is the bestest cell you will find in this price range, secondly its screen resolution and sound quality is great.. it's little bit multitasking, but not as friendly as nokia have. It have inbuilt gadget for social media networking, but mostly open in a browser, so you cant be online everytime, when you do other task like during calling, you will get disconnected automatically, you can install more gadget from your samsung mobile.. but there is some limitation there, you will not found much option to download.. hope samsung guy will develop some more for this. you can't install jar or jad file in this mobile. so my suggestion is this, if you are a light user, and style matters for you, then go for samsung corby.. but if you are heavy user, want to have multi tasking phone, and lots of pirated software, then go for e 62. oops! forget to mention, samsung corby have qwerty kyyboard, but control keypad is missing, so you cant perform copy paste activity in this phone.. and onething more you cant open heavy files like heavy word or pdf document in this mobile, as far as browser part is concern, it's browser is awsome.. it easily open even flash file, and very easy to zoom, but you can get the same functionality in nokia by installing opera mini..
so in short, if you can compramise for style, look and lats gadg. then go for samsung corby.. otherwise go for nokia..

I would recommend this is the best buy as of now in the market.

Yes the phone as a secondary camera and will do video calling only if your operator supports 3G features.
Just to be more specific, it has to be both the operator and the handset which needs to support 3G (In this case CROBY PRO DOES :-) ).

Hi,
I picked this phone just last weekend.
The phone is meets expectations so far, the only drwa back i came across is the the document viewer is poor and does not let you zoom in .... :(.
The rest of the spec are as promised, GPS - GOOD, WI Fi - GOOD ... Music quality - 7 out of 10.

Hi, Im using the samsung B5310 for a week a right now. It was a great phone but the only problem I had is when I am trying to connect to the Wi-Fi and try to browse on Internet I always got the error message DNS Fail... Please help!!!!
