in the call time list, there is a timer for dialled data calls too. is the corby pro capable of making voip calls?? anybody know how to renew the validity time for the gps!!

Kiekie079, 23 Dec 2010I dnt own a corby pro bt im gna gt 1 on mnday i hve ma hear... moreit all depends on what you expect from the phone too... i had bought it last month with the same mixed feelings that you have now. if you are upgrading then you might like it, if you've used a similar phone then you will be disappointed. the inbuilt browser is hopeless but you could install opera. gps is horrible, it comes with a validity period which got renewed on it's own for a month and then became 0. not been able to use it since then. otherwise it's bearable

you can not edit MS office files. But you can view word, excel, power pint and pdf files. you can even rename files and search for particular word in it.

I dnt own a corby pro bt im gna gt 1 on mnday i hve ma heart set on ths phne nd all ur opinions r mkn it hard to decide wether to buy it or nt so im gna buy it anyway, all i cn say is i thnk it depends on wer u buy the phne, if u buy it at a real cellphne shop u wl b imprsd bt if u buy it at these second hand retail trades u wl b desappointd so if u realy wnt da phne go 4 it bt pick the ryt store.

Wow, this Phone is amazing! In my opinion, everyone should have this phone because here in Canada, it's cheap, good quality, and the features are AMAZING! I love the touch screen, and the cartoon UI! The Texting features are great, too! I give this phone a perfect 10! By the way, I'm 16, so I think all teenagers should get this phone instead of Blackberrys (they suck) or iphones (really slow).

I used 7/8 nokia mobile during last 8 years. Even I lost three nokia mobile.but didnt got back..Recently a case was reported to our police station(Dr.D.B.Marg Police Station,Mumbai) that a samsung mobile owner reported that he forgot his mobile in a taxi. within 4 days he got back his mobile through police, because of the samsung mobile company has mobile tracking system. If somebody put a samsung corby mobile a new sim card the company alerts the present user's number. you will get it back through police complaint. So I purchased a Samsung Corby Pro 5310. It is very nice. A mini laptop. yeah a mini laptop. you can watch internet sites very clearly. paaisa vasool.

spoon, 20 Dec 2010Why is it every time I go to send or receive a text message... moretry to send mms on your own mobile # as well....'coz as far as I know...in sending mms, u need to ask your mobile provider for that to be activated and they will send you a configuration if needed. Mine, works, perfectly fine.

This mobile is very good for those who has to use only call n msging options....the drawbacks r too much....it doesnt support avi files in video player....no flashlight with camera....net is much slow compared to nokia symbian phones....connectivity is poor n with other browsers like opera n uc web its too much poor....msg memory is only limited to phone memory that is only 1300 only....msgs cant b stored into memory card....manu times many jar files cant b downloaded n 3gp n mp4 files r also not working when they r taken via bluetooth....

If u like to face the plenty of problems with this mobile u can purchase it...
