well you can not download youtube video directly to our mobile and yes there is a a software that can download youtube files to your mobile.. just go to getjar and write youtube in search box and you will get plenty of software...

i have this phone and i recharge the phone after 2 days of heavy and after 4 days with light use
so cause there is something with your unite doesn't means that it a bad phone :)
and having a problem with the unite can happen to anyone...

well i want to say that no matter how great features the phone got but in the end it's a PHONE... and i know that there is lots of other phone got copy, paste option but it not a big deal... we can live without this option
well about being a java phone... well you said the advantage of that and in lots of site there is a java softwares that covers almost everything.... and in page 3 you will see a post of how to make the game, application work in landscape... by just editing the java file
sms storage is limited is you save the messages on phone or sim card but it will be unlimited if you save them on memory card... and please tell me is 1300 messages not enough for you?

i didnt try... moreHello cLowie... am really sorry for not replying in the same day but i just couldn't log in...
well i'm just like you.... i never ever tried to use sync on my phone but i always back up my data on my pc using the pcsuite that comes with the phone and it's so easy doing so.... and i don't just back up the contacts.. i also back up the messages, calender and the other files like music, video files and so on...
i till now didn't find the proper way to use the sync without losing any data but back up the data by using Kies is easy...
ex: you want to back up your contacts... there is 2 ways to do so...
after you connect the the mobile with the computer you will see in the upper right side icon for the mobile and the memory card... press on the mobile icon.. you will see contacts, calender, multimedia... press on contacts you will see 2 options: A) save to pc... B) outlook sync.... choose A then set a password for the file if you want and here you go you just backed up the contacts to your pc...
the 2nd way is in kies there is that bar which contains all the option that you can use... press on contacts... choose the contacts you want want to back up then press on save to pc.... just as simple as that.....
and i promise you if i ever knew how the sync works... then i'll post it here... cause i wanna know how it works too :D:D:D:D

I hav used this phone.....in starting it was good but later on creating problems like touch panel and the tight keypads.......personal advice don't purchase any of samsung phone as it has harware problem as i hav 3 samsung phone in ma house 2 corby nd 1 corby pro......now hav only 2 corby....

viruses may be easy to handle than the problems of samsung

worst phone , after the ear module got damaged had to repair privately since part had not arrived from korea even after 1 month.
now the touch screen is acting bizzare touch any area message opens no use of caliberation even.
music player is difficult to handle for adding new songs to playlist has to browse thru' library each time.
phone is a waste of money
service is very poor

plz plz plz dont buy this phone!! this phone is absolute crap!! total waste of money... i just bought this phone 2 weeks backkk and now i m making rounds of the service center every now and then.. the camera's good in the phone though, i should say that!! But, thrs some serious problem with battery of the phone... it gets discharged within 2 hrs that too without any activity.. stupid phone... i ws a proud owner of a nokia phone prior but this phone really sucks!!!!!!1

its a wonderful mobile. its not just a phone. its pro. but tis pro fails to give a simple functions.
Ter s no copy paste option in message.
and as its a java mobile we can only download java applications.
and sms storage also limited but in symbian os its unlimited sms storage. pro has only advantage tat no virus in tis world attacks it. its main disadvantage s tat the downloaded application or games are not automatically rotates to landscape if we open the slide. it become useless to our downloaded application or games if we play only in portrait.
downloaded application or games doesn't work comes in full screen and we get a touch arrow keys in other half screen. so uncomfortable to use it.

how can i back up my contact i just want to explore the sync something to have an idea how it works.. :D :D
