syb-ke, 17 Jun 2009which one is better? this handset or D980?...i see the diff... moreThis one is far better as both lines are quadband while older models are only triband (900/1800/1900) in the main line and dualband (900/1800) in the secondary line. Plus I'm a great fan of Samsung's sliders, I own 2 D880 today and will replace one of them with a B5702. Already bought it, can't wait for its arrival. Come to papa!

One more question: the D880 russian version I first got had the right soft button to show contacts, but the brazilian version released here a year later has 'Mensag.' in the right soft key and contacts are accessed by using the D-pad down. I prefer it that way, contacts accessed by D-pad down. Is the Portuguese version like that too?

i buy it in portugal.. its on the market since march 2009 and it´s a wonderfull cellphone. i'm shure that anyone will be delighted.

why is not accepting application like Bible and Dictionary and others things semilar.
Good design and well finished phone but that is the problem that is one of the reason Nokia is winning Nigeria market today if you can look into this you see that samsung will have nigeria market within a short time.

Good design from Samsung for its dimension better to use 240x320 - 2.6/2.8 display, + 3G, and half querty keyboard... Nice...
